What is Attraction Marketing
In almost any network marketing company, the first thing that we are taught to do is to build a list of people; everyone we know. To go through cell phone contacts, wedding albums, high school yearbooks, whatever will jog our memory on all of the people that we are either in or ever have been in relationship with. Then we are told that we should call or visit everyone on our list to show them our “opportunity”. We are told to do 1-on-1 meetings with people in their home, in our local Waffle House, or wherever someone will listen. Everyone becomes a prospect!
Now, don’t get me wrong, these methods do work! A lot of people have built a very successful home based business using these exact methods! As a matter of fact, I actually practice these methods quite often, and probably always will. But……what if, just what if there was a way to spend less time chasing people down and more time drawing people to YOU? What would happen in your business if you could get yourself in front of people all over the country that were looking for exactly what you have to offer? How nice would it be to actually be able to sponsor people that were already familiar with this industry and knew how the business model worked…..wouldn’t that be nice? Well I am here to tell you that it is absolutely possible! There is a whole big world out there and we all have access to it through a little thing called the internet! If we are not promoting our business on the internet, we are not using the most POWERFUL resource we have right at our fingertips and our businesses will not grow to their maximum potential!
But please, before you run out and open accounts on every social network, pound people with emails, buy expensive websites, spend 1000’s of dollars on Google AdWords, and shove your opportunity down the throat of the World Wide Web, you must understand that people DO NOT want to be sold anything, period! That is where attraction marketing comes into the picture, but you must understand attraction marketing before you can put it into action. Attraction marketing is not the same as internet marketing. You can put your ads out there and get your name and business in front of the whole world, but if you’re attracting a bunch of leads that could care less about you or your products and have no intention of ever getting into network marketing….well you are never going to get off of square one. It is very important that you spend your time and money wisely by getting your ads in front of the people that are looking for what you have, whether it is your opportunity or products that you are marketing. By doing this, you start attracting quality leads and can start to build quality relationships with like minded people. Notice I said “quality relationships”, you must know right from the start that people do not join a business, they join you! You attract people to you by having something of value to offer. Okay, so you may be thinking “I am new at this, what could I have to offer”? If you just spend a couple of hours researching attraction marketing, you will already be more educated than a lot of other people…..and tah dah….you now have some valuable knowledge.
Believe me; it gets a lot deeper than this, this is only the tip of the iceberg. If you are serious about growing a successful home based business, then I highly recommend that you look into getting the Magnetic Sponsoring course. It was put together by a guy name Mike Dillard, and it is chock full of information on attraction marketing, being a leader, and what it really to takes to be a first class network marketer. Now this is not a sales pitch for Mr. Dillard, but when I read the books that come with this course and got an inside look at attraction marketing, it really opened my eyes to a whole new way of doing this business. I wish you the best in whatever adventures that life takes you on!

Attraction Marketing
This article is in fact one of the most essential concepts to understanding the true design of marketing. The root word here is market. A market symbolizes common ground where purchases and trades are made, and/or observed.
In days of old, a market place was the center of town. Prospect A sews clothing. Prospect B is a blacksmith. These two have different trades, but both have something to offer the other. Prospect A needs needles and scissors. Prospect B needs repairs to his clothing due to fire from the kiln. Both now have common ground in which to build a relationship, however casual it may be. Both prospects need sustenance; enter Prospect C, the butcher. Now Prospect A and B have a common ground with Prospect C, Prospect A can make a new apron for Prospect C, and Prospect B can supply the cutlery. The beef supplier, who needs all of the above, will be caught up in the flow.
The essential key here is what common market are we a part of? One aids, supplies, and profits. The other consumes, digests, then slowly withers and dies.
