Why M-L-M products are so expensive

Does a netw0rk market1ng company really need a big, big, big, big, big home office? It's comical. They say, "Oh, we're debt freee."Yeah. They're debt-freee off the backs of distribut0rs. That's how they built that big home office. Doesn't help you at all.
They call it "breakage." That's the difference between wh0lesale pr0duct c0st and reta1l c0st ... mark-up from $39.95 reta1l to $79.95 wh0lesale. That pays for the building. And maybe a company jet or two.
A few years back, a prepa1d phone card company charged $2 or $3 a minute for prepaid phone calls. You bought a phone card for a dollar a minute. But these were collector's cards, said the company: "If you don't scratch the back of the card off, and don't use the time, it makes it more valuable.")
So this plastic card, which cost maybe 25 cents to create, was selling for $2 a minute. And the company convinced the people not to scratch it off, so they never had to pay for the phone time.
Isn't that amazing? It's no wonder netw0rk market1ng gets a bad name.
Part of being successful is to find a company with an excellent product at a reasonable price. Hint: if they have a glitzy 27-story home office, keep searching.
To build your own big income in M-L-M, the people you sponsor will need a constant stream of hot pr0spects. I can help you do that for them, and for yourself. For details, Look at the ebook that will change the network marketing world for the better

Sad but True

It is really sad that so many people are involved with a company whose HUGE profit is going to the CEO's of the company and their lifestyle. And they're not even distributors and never have been. I am so thankful that I found a company who has a system of giving so much of the profit to its distributors.

Thanks, Steven for the informative article.

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A REPUTABLE COMPANY??

I wish I was aware of this in my first mlm company. Now that I read the book success in 10 steps. I know what to look for in a company. Listen to Steven and download his book. What he is saying is SO true. How big are your commission checks. I have found a 5 pillar company, that is why I work with Steven. Great value and thanks for sharing.

Get informed before you join.

It's wonderful when one finds a company who cares about their distributors, offers great products and has a great comp plan. Plus a system is needed to plug your partners in to, so they too can duplicate. Great post Steven!

Oppulance in MLM

Hmmmm, anybody up for an opposing viewpoint?

MLM products only seem expensive if you are comparing them to WalMart instead of Nordstroms. You know what I mean? WalMart is great if you know exactly what you want because heaven help you if you think one of the associates is going to be able to figure it out. Nordstoms are staffed with retail professionals whose time dedicated to their craft is obvious. You pay for that in the higher mark-up. Where is your mentality on this?

For those of us who retail MLM products and services, we are SUPPOSE to be the most knowedgeable and skilled sales people out there. That added value IS why are products are worth more. The truth is that most of us only dedicate a symbolic effort at knowing and retailing our product because we are obsessed with growing our organization. How sharp is YOUR axe?

I've been through the "Mentoring for Free" funnel and M.D. provides some great training but at the end of the day, he still has something to sell JUST LIKE THE REST OF US.

I've heard his rail on the bigger, older companies. The ones that invest in R&D to generate superior products and create massive revenue opporunities for productive distributors and stockholders but choose NOT to set up office in a strip mall or industrial park.

Getting a company from a garage or industrial park to a $billion in revenue or running a $3, $5 or $7billion dollar enterprise takes executive talent that only comes from talent where the air is rare. Those executives clear the deck so that the producers can produce. They think differently than us (salesmen and marketers) and thank goodness. Rarely, if ever does a successful sales/marketing personality make a successful transition to executive management.

Conversely, if that executive in that penthouse office is not producing, but all means run him out of town on a rail.

Are there abuses? No doubt. And you should do your homework as suggested above. Just don't throw the baby out with the bathwater as there are many large, established, publicly traded companies who offer everything you need for lasting success.
