Mindset: Simple?

 How many times, standing in a line somewhere, have you heard someone say they are " having a bad day" or something similar? Do you think they realize  what they are saying? I wonder. Do they even know they (you,me) are literally forfeiting their future? I hope not, why would anyone give up without a fight? Did we forget the simple kindergarten lessons of positive thinking?  Remember the Little Engine That Could? (I think I can, I think I can) Or The Grass is Greener on the Other side of the Fence? It`s the same grass on both sides. So why do many people surrender their valuable mental real estate? It`s the easy way out. How about Sour Grapes, remember that one? When the fox couldn`t reach what he was after, he stalked away, declaring, "I didn`t really want them anyway, & besides they are probably sour." Sound familiar? Be honest with yourself. I know I have been guilty many times. So, why am I quoting nursery books to mature adults? Simply a friendly reminder to guard a most valuable resource: your mind & its contents. Like a small child, it is easily misled if left untended  & the deed is often done thru seemingly innocent means. Beware, friends, & watch over your assets. You`ll be glad you did. And you`ll miss `em if you don`t.
