Squidoo makes it extremely easy to put topics that interest you on the Internet for others to find. You will want to create lenses that discuss topics that interest you. If you are in a health and wellness business then talk about health related issues, in the legal field then talk about issues related to laws. The idea is to build several lenses that lead people to a lead capture page so you can gain the reader's contact information and continue providing them information that interests them.

Twitter is a website that allows you to follow what others are saying and doing while allowing others to follow you. Consider Twitter as a way to quickly update others on what you are doing. You have 140 characters to tell people what is happening in your life. Now it doesn't sound that impressive but if you have 5000 people following you, meaning they are interested in what you are doing, and you send them a link to an article that you wrote about a topic that might solve their problem then they get more attracted to you. The goal is to supply updates that interest people and ultimately lead them to a lead capture page so you can continue to build a relationship with them.

Supplying articles that solve their problems or offers a review of products they are considering makes you the expert in their eyes.
