Before You Join That MLM PreLaunch...
We see them all the time...
"Get in the ground floor of this ground-breaking opportunity!"
"Never before in the history of MLM has anything been done like THIS! Secure your spot NOW!"
"New company to take the MLM industry by storm! Get in at the top!"
And many such "urgent" messages fill your inbox, your SPAM folder, your Facebook page and the like. I have most definitely seen and even JOINED my fair share of prelaunches and after having been burned by some and having witnessed the demise of many others - I can proudly say that I am no longer impressed by them nor do I ever feel hard pressed to join any of them. *PHEW...thank goodness!*
So, should YOU join an MLM prelaunch?
Well, I can't control what you do but I will say this...
Think about all the hoopla and hype that surrounds the newest game console or cell phone that comes out on the market. People standing in line waiting and beating the doors down to be one of the first to own it with credit cards in hand. The smiling faces and those annoying expressions that reek of "Naa-naa-na-naa-naaa..I got one and you didn't!"
Now, think about after all the hype and the noise has died down then all of a sudden you hear news reports or read on the internet of people angry and taking the products back because there are bugs and kinks that had not been worked out yet. This doesn't work...that doesn't work...it's not doing what they claimed it would do.
Now attach that same scenario to the newest, hottest, "nothing-like-any-other-MLM-out-there" business you may be thinking about joining up with. Same rules apply!
So don't fall for the "You HAVE to get in on the ground floor!" hype...if the company is that good then it shouldn't matter WHEN you get in.
Can I say it again?
If the company is that good then it shouldn't matter WHEN you get in!
Instead, look for longevity and stability and if the shiny, brand-spanking new company you're eyeballing is THAT appealing to you (and I'm talking about on a deeper level than the outer coating of glamour) then do as I tell my 18-year old son every time he gets all excited and wants the new kid on the block game console - wait a while until all the smoke clears and the dust has settled, I'd say even if it means waiting a year (I've seen plenty of businesses and programs that come out and then the following year, they're long gone!) and see if it's still as attractive to you or better yet...if they're even still around. You'll probably be surprised and amazed as to how it all turns out in the end! ;)

Before You Join That MLM PreLaunch...
Good advise, Cherie. Another reason to stay away from pre-launches is this: Some of them never launch. The company is simply building a database of potential prospects that can be sold as leads.
Wow...good point!
Hey Irma,
I had never thought of that...wow, thanks for revealing that tidbit!
