Build width, Build depth, Build leaders in width and depth….

are so many different aspects to building your network marketing business that I teach people to focus their business building efforts on 3 things :

1. Build width

2. Build Depth

3. Build Leaders in Width and in Depth.

Now trust me when I say this, its a lot tougher than it sounds.  Especially when you consider it take massive Skills to be able to accomplish these 3 things.

I’ve  seen allot of the “Big Pin’s” and their incomes literally disintegrate because they chose to get caught up in the excitement phase of the business, started enjoying “celebrity” status a bit too much and never truly took the time to build a truly duplicate able business along the way.

Remember, you are in Network marketing for a reason and here is that reason: At some time you were sold on the idea that you can create a residual income in this business….remember that?

Unfortunately somewhere along the line people forget why they ever joined a network and they become those folks who are just product users because they love “Being a part of something”.

Don’t fall in that rut! Fight for your dream,and force yourself to be a builder of a network.  Press in and learn and adhere to some of the basic steps all top network marketers follow in order truly build leaders and build a duplicatable business.

Here are a few Steps to implement immediately that will cause drastic results in your business!

- Introduce EVERYONE you sponsor to at least one generation of your active up-line immediately!

Remember something about people….they want to feel like they’re apart of something bigger than themselves. So do help them get that positive experience immediately.  Introducing them to your up line as soon as you sponsor them causes them to see they have allot of support and, they also feel a little more comfortable knowing you and them aren’t the only one’s crazy enough to join your MLM!

-Sit down with everyone you sponsor for at least one hour and get them started properly.

Manage their expectations, if not you’ll set them up for failure.  I like to tell people that their first 90 days are training and they really shouldn’t expect allot of results, instead they should be focusing on learning skills.  I also let them know that only 2-3 out of every 10 people they speak to will get into business with them so that they’re prepared for reality.

-Expose everyone you Sponsor to the system you follow within 24 hours.

Now, unfortunately most systems are really multi million dollar operations that really don’t teach people anything.  They just….well make allot of money! But if you do have a good system that is teaching people business skills then this really is a simple one.  Connect everyone into your trainings,conference calls corporate events etc.

“I want to make you aware of 3 important words. If you understand these 3 important words,you will understand what makes all MLM programs work.  Those words are :

1.Expose 2. Involve 3. Upgrade

The first thing you have to do is EXPOSE the person to the business you are in.  Once you have exposed it to them,get them INVOLVED. Once they are involved they will begin to think about how far they can go in the program and will be UPGRADED constantly.

Genius. Pure genius. I recommend you buy that book immediately to grasp the full power of this small excerpt!

-Don’t let ANYONE you sponsor talk to anyone about the business or the product without you present or your up line present.

This is a big one.  I mean a REAL REAL big one. Think about it, if you really want to grow your business you need….leaders in your business.  You want to go after the busiest most motivated people you know.  If you or your people try to talk to those types without any proper training…they’ll run all over you!

I was a part of a system that taught to “Lead” with the product.  Sure that will work I guess,but you’ll NEVER sponsor business people…you’ll naturally only sponsor people who want the product.  You can sponsor,20,30 even 40 of those and guess what will happen?  You’re business will go NOWHERE and fast.

Now maybe product users will stick around for along time because they enjoy “Being a part of something”  but you’ll notice really quickly that the same faces are showing up to your events and no real leaders ever emerge…..because real leaders are attracted to business and profitable businesses at that.

Picture the most successful person you know.  Now ask yourself this question, do you ever picture him or her carrying around a little tote bag with products sharing them with everyone?  I didn’t think so.

Secondly,lets say that you are really good at sponsoring people and you can go out and sponsor the world!  Well, that’s great, but you’re killing your business before it even starts.

You see, subconsciously the new distributors you sponsor will think ” man that guy is good, and I could never do what he does”.  Instead of teaching duplicatable actions, you instantly teach them the opposite.

Ive found that the best way to do sponsor people is to simply set a 15 minute appointment with your up-line and LET THEM DO ALL THE TALKING!

This way if your prospect says no…they didn’t say no to you, and if they say yes, you immediately teach them that all their success is not determined by their skill set at that moment.  It’s determined by their ability to follow the system, and simply set as many 15 minute appointments as possible!
