Is TVI Express a Valid Business?
After joining Bill McMahon's Team at http://budurl.com/db59, internet entrepreneurs have achieved success in their network marketing business by visiting Bill McMahon’s Network Marketing Success blog at http://joinbillmcmahonblog.com.
A close comrade of mine started a business with TVI Express and I was worried, so I wanted to find out about this company. I had been receiving lots of sales pitches, some of which were very strong pitches. This added to my concern. After a very thorough study I can state that TVI Express in NOT a scam. Here is why:
My first step was to search via Google. There were numerous articles expressing their opinion on TVI Express. Some were written by persons who had attempted to succeed with this opportunity, but failed. I will exclude their feelings here. Some others felt that TVI Express is a rip-off because it does not sell merchandise. My investigation showed that there is definitely a product - a travel service. In this regard, TVI Express is very similar to AAA. In AAA, you have to be a member in order to take advantage of their services. The dissimilarity from AAA is that your membership with TVI Express is a one time fee. It is NOT a monthly or annual fee.
The articles that I read also indicated that TVI Express is a scam because you are paid to recruit. That is untrue with TVI Express. The fact is that you are paid to recruit in every MLM or network marketing company. That is, you are paid commission when you have more people in your organization. The method in which you are paid is what can make an organization be against DSA policies. If you are paid money when each recruit starts, your company is going against DSA policies. My investigation proved that in TVI Express you are not paid when someone new becomes a member. In fact, 14 people need to be in your organization before you are paid. Does that mean that each member needs to recruit 14 members? Absolutely not. Each member only needs to recruit 2.
TVI Express now has over 1,000,000 distributors in over 150 countries. Talk about incredible growth and expanse. The pure member numbers point toward a very legitimate business system.
I mentioned that some articles were noticeably written by unsuccessful members. The reasons for success in any business are due to the system. Most successful organizations thrive because of a team oriented approach. When the members of the organization work collectively to achieve a shared goal, the organization is much more successful. And when the individuals work as a team, all members of that team benefit.
My friend who started TVI Express in November was not achieving her goals. She was growing a bit, but she was not getting paid. Then on January 6th of 2010 she joined a team within TVI Express called The Presidential Group. She explained to me that in this group, no one is left behind. She explained that members use their combined strengths to make the team grow. Some members are better recruiters; some members are better article writers or YouTube video creators or advertisers. None of these folks with these skills can succeed as easily alone. For instance, an incredible recruiter could easily start a business. However, the members that he recruits may not be able to recruit as well, so his organization will stall. She explained that in The Presidential Group, all members work together. The creators of this team are Sherry Dossey and Michael Wyrosdick. Through their leadership, my friend earned her first $500 in 2 weeks and her first $10,000 in 40 days. In just 2 months The Presidential Group has grown to 700 members.
The bottom line: TVI Express is a very legitimate business and the path to success is through the TVI Presidential Group. I started my investigation to prove that my friend was making a mistake. In the end, she showed me that I should have started TVI much earlier.

You call this a "review"?

Except what TVI Express sells, besides itself, is a rebranded version of Travelocity. It is a travelocity affiliate through WCTravel.com and Travelocity is FREE TO USE BY EVERYBODY. If you are willing to pay TVI Express $250 to use something that is free, well, that is your right to do so. But when that qualifies you for that $10000 board payout, that means you're in a pyramid scheme.
AAA membership comes with immediate and useful benefits, such as maps, tow-service with 1-800 number, and other stuff. It also qualifies to you to buy AAA auto and other insurance.
TVI Express membership gives you something that should have been free, plus a chance to qualify for big payout by recruiting. That is a pyramid scheme, not a business.

The problem is FTC have long established that a LEGIT MLM company must pay less than 30% based on recruiting, and 70% or over based on sales. For TVI Express, the ratio is more like 1% on sales, and 99% on recruiting, because TVI Express FAQ specifically says "you don't need to sell anything" and "You need to recruit two people, and teach each of them to recruit two more people".

Sorry, but that's about as pathetic excuse as you could have made. It's about as bad as Bill Clinton's "I did not have sex" denial. (We all know what he really got, that infamous blue blouse...) If you get paid for EACH recruit it's bad, but if you get paid for having 14 people under you, only two of which you recruited directly, that is good? Oh, puh-lease.

The number of members in NO WAY indicates a legitimate business. That is known as "bandwagon fallacy". It is BAD LOGIC, and here's proof:

Sorry, but your article has holes big enough to drive a convoy of 18-wheelers through.
I agree that TVI Express has
I agree that TVI Express has grown a lot lately. Still, I don't have so much confidence in something that seems more like a pyramidal system. I have a couple of friends who are Forex brokers. I think I should ask them about this.
