There's this weird change I am seeing, from many leaders.

Johanthan Budd gone towards universe, mindset and deeper self development.

Now Mike Dillard focusing on wealth development and not just making money but keeping it.

As the say goings, "It's not what you make but what you keep."

The change I am seeing is positive and it's also a great way to learn too because we see how one starts from a waiter on tables to a wealthy man, who has developed an empire; which continues to grow.

Before us, I can say, is a blue print that if any wants to really achieve, then everything is there to learn.

I'm just speaking about the Magnetic Sponsoring Products and his new ventures; but also, how he leads from one idea, vision to another.

The vision, the marketing side, the personal branding, and how it started and where it's now going.

It's a great journey to see unravel before our eyes.

Congratulations to Mike Dillard who has now started to focus on the Money Wealth and how to keep it.

Congrats to The new CEO Trent Cooper who Mike handed over the day to day runnings of Betternetworker.com

And Tim Erway for the day to day running of Magnetic Sponsoring.

What can we see from this?

That making money is all and well, but keeping it - that's a whole different kettle of fish.

But also something else, which I feel hits a home run and we can see this in Mike Dillard.

  • To focus in solving a need and make that one thing succeed big.
  • To create other solutions that relate to each other
  • To create a team and learn to let go.

Letting go can be real tough but sometimes, to move to other visions, one needs to trust the team and that's what we are seeing right now.

Which gives us some thought to reflect on:

  • How many today, are working on 5 different projects, 3 different businesses and not got one succeed big time, to millions?
  • How many today, are creating and much of it does not make sense and match with each other?
  • How many today, are so busy in multi-tasking, and not creating a power team?

There are lessons I feel we can learn from each other and leaders who achieve, grow and keep stretching our expectations.

It's great to see it before our eyes.

You can read the full story on Mike Dillards Blog..

Congrats to Mike Dillard and his Team.

And looking forward to hear more of great leaders - Tim Erway and Trent Cooper.

Proof that I was right

Well, there you go.

The day I saw coming and predicted has come. Mike Dillard leaving the day to day operation of Magnetic Sponsoring.

Could he have done this if his brand was Mike Dillard? I think not. You can sell your name, but who wants to take that risk? He saw a future beyond Magnetic Sponsoring and structured his company so that it would survive and thrive whether he was there or not.

Now all of you lame "Me-Too!" marketers can drop the crap of branding yourself. Because as demonstrated by the man you love to quote endlessly, you don't have to brand your name to make it big. And sometimes it helps that your brand is NOT your name.

Mike Dillard just proved it.

Thanks Dave..

Yes, I agree with you there Dave.

The brand name, is a load of BS. If he had that company called Mike Dillard, it would have been very difficult. He looked way ahead for sure.

That's why my website, blog I'm building is not called after my name. Instead by a business name legally.

It's actually, dangerous to call ones business by their name.

Many build a business, in the big boys world - they build different businesses under each other, so much so, that anyone who got some vendetta can't touch them. They have to take the first name to court. That cost big money.

They have to work down to next one. That cost big money. They smart man. They know how the real world works. They know how to not just make money...but keep it.

That's where I'm nearly at and I am not trusting financial advisors.

I was with someone, he created one of the biggest shopping maul in our city, and chatted to him about 3 weeks ago.

This his words..

"Don't ever put your business as your name. You'll be chewed, spit in the commericial world. Be smart. Create the business that surpasses your brand."

That's exactly what we seeing. Mike's brand has now surpassed and Magnetic S can running without him too, by the team, and new CEO.

That's a real business. Awesome.

It's great to see Mike exanding big time.

So thanks for no BS Dave. It's great to always hear from people like yourself. I'm so tired of personal branding "Name of the person."

We need a revolution "brand your skills, talent, get masterful at it and they come running.."

I'm also tired of "it's not selling." Does my head in when I hear someone say, "it's not selling." LOL.

Cheers.

Quite True

Nothing in life is cookie cutter perfect. We must move with the cheese. In other words be flexible and adapt to our unique circumstances, everyone is different. The guru is the guru, the people are the people.
