Neucopia - Unbiased Review
Neucopia is another new company based on 100% commissions. David Wood and David Sharpe did it with the hugely successful Empower Network and as expected more have sprung up out of the wood work. NMVT had a go but didn’t even touch the dizzy heights of the Empower Network.
Neucopia launched globally on June 4 2012 and foundered by a guy called Rich Cook. Who is Rich Cook? Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find anything on the big G about Rich Cook or his past achievements.
Neucopia promises to help you generate multiple streams of affiliate income, which they say, is responsible for 80% of the money made online today.
Let’s dig in…
The word Neucopia stems from the Latin term “copia” meaning abundance. The company’s mantra is to help people obtain abundance in their lives and those around them. Not terribly original…Don’t they all say that? If you join, according to the company’s website, you will make new friends from all around the world and live a life of abundance. Wow! Now who wouldn’t want that?
When you become a member of Neucopia, you will have access to thousands of dollars worth of top tools, training and other secret income generating strategies to help you earn multiple streams of income. Unfortunately, I cannot share what the tools or products are, because you don’t find out about these until you join.
The marketing hype for Neucopia is centred on the “ground floor opportunity” pitch. At least that is the message that has been arriving in my inbox for the last 2 weeks.
Neucopia Compensation Plan
Neucopia says that their compensation plan is unique. Neucopia calls it their “Revolutionary Accelerator Plus Compensation Plan”. They feel that they have eliminated the negative aspects of the traditional 3UP plans. Like most compensation plans it’s a little confusing to get your head around. Basically there are two levels. Level 1 and Level 2
… no really…I didn’t make that up.
Everyone pays $100 membership when they get started. Level 1 folk pay $49 per month. So your initial spend to get in is $149 for the first month and then $49 every 30 days. Level 2 people pay $169.95 per month + $100 membership ($269.95 to get in).
Level 1 people need to enrol and pass up 3 people to qualify. Level 2 people need only pass up 2.
Since I find compensation plans very confusing to digest, I have taken these snaps from their presentation video.
Neucopia offers 3 ways to get paid.
Front-end Commissions – earn from people you sign up directly
Residual income – Level 2 only
Matching Bonuses – $10 to your enroller. Level 2 members benefit from this the most.
Basically, the more people you sign the more you make – month after month – providing they stay on auto-ship.
Then there is the Accelerator Plus Bonus. With Neucopia, people don’t hesitate to give up the $100 or $200 commissions on their qualifying sales to their enroller, because the Matching Bonus earning potential is so HUGE, that they have the ability to earn even MORE on the back end. Plus, since enrollers will always have an incentive to help their first two people, it creates more duplication, faster momentum, and bigger growth all around.
Payments are made monthly through Payza, Check or Direct Deposit. Neucopia does have a 100% refund policy – however you must request a refund 3 days after you join or no can do. Read your fine print people.
My Thoughts About Neucopia.
What are my thoughts on Neucopia business opportunity? As you have correctly assumed, I am not a fan of 2UP/3UP fizzy-wink compensation plans. Considering most new marketers will never sign up even one person. However, it is way too early to call Neucopia a phenomenon. Can it gain the dizzy heights of the Empower Network? Time will tell but I doubt it. Should it even be compared to the Empower Network? Neucopia is nothing like the Empower Network.
It is only similar because there is a similar buy-in cost. Lower priced online businesses are fabulous for those with limited cash reserves HOWEVER this price point has its challenges too. People who join lower cost companies are not investing a lot of money and they will leave and look for the next big thing if they haven’t been trained correctly and don’t have the necessary focus and commitment to work online. Attrition rates can be very high.
If you decide to become a Neucopia rep then I wish you and this new company all the best. You will however still face one main challenge marketing this business. And that is finding enough people to talk to. You will need leads – people to talk to about your business.
There is ONE certainty with ANY business you get started in online, be it Neucopia or Amway, you need leads. Loads of leads! What will you do when your warm market i.e. family and friends are not interested in joining Neucopia?
