Great List

Helpful information!
Thanks Rod

Hmm...very interesting

Rod,

Thanks for posting this list. It's surprising to see how many Top 64 companies with which I have working relationships.

54. Keller Williams Realty- Several of their brokers have partnered with us for CE and to develop additional leads and income streams, and many of the agents get their CE directly from us.

21. Pre-Paid Legal Services- As many of our clients are in the target-market for PPL, they find our Business Partner Plan a logical fit for developing an additional income stream.

14. Ignite- What can I say...I'm a representative for them!

6. Primerica Financial Services- Again, like K-W, the services we offer are state-mandated for every Primerica rep, so they are one of our best target groups. Also, our Business Plan fills the need of a lead generator and income stream.

For me, this list is not only enlightening, but inspirational, as I now have a more clear view of my target markets.

In the long run, this may prove to be one of the most useful posts on BN. At least, for me, that is.

Have a GREAT day,
Warren

Fascinating information

This kind of information fascinates me. Thanks, Rod.

Perhaps passing it on to people who are looking at the
industry for the first time might be a good idea. The
main thing that people need when they are looking at a
Network Marketing/Direct Sales company is stability.
Which leads to...
It's not surprising that #1 and #2 are the ones that started it all.

Another interesting aspect

Another interesting aspect of this list is how many on the list owe their longevity to a very solid and committed customer base. As network marketers we know that the power is in creating a large organization through duplication. But the foundation for the long term comes from customers who love the product line and continue to make regular purchases, year after year, decade after decade.

Deborah Tutnauer — Sun, 09/27/2009 - 2:06pm

Just Fasinating.

Very fasinating that I belong to the best network businesses that are creating millionieres and some people are here struggling with just over broke system telling me that it is a pyramind scheme.

Terfa Nyamor — Sun, 09/27/2009 - 8:01pm

Very informative

I'm going to share this with people who tell me all network marketing is a scam. Excellent material. Thanks!

Top 64 MLM Companies

It may seem to me that the report is perhaps a little incomplete. I work with Reliv International, which was founded in 1988, is reported to have sales of $144 million in 2008. Check it out, I could be wrong, but don't think so. Reliv is a publicly held company so its info is available to anyone!

Dave Zuro — Mon, 09/28/2009 - 9:16am

They are all REAL businesses . . .

Great report Rod. It's good to see such a familiar list of names and for 'prospects' reading it, that there are so many companies that do not just exist but are household names. MLM and network marketing are only as strong as the companies behind the 'title', human support and continued coaching are paramount to the success of any individual and certainly vital structures for the business entrepreneurs we help here in the UK.

Again great report! Many thanks.

Very enlightening, very fascinating

Hey Rod, thanks very much for that fascinating insight.
For me personally, it's great to see Telecom plus in the top 64, being as they are wholly UK-based and serve only the UK marketplace with essential utility services - Telecom plus have been Europe's No 1 company, and they are the Financial Times Company Of The Year, 2009. I'm proud to be involved with this major PLC and with MLM in general - MLM DOES WORK! It's a superior business model. Thanks again Rod.

This is a real eye opener in

This is a real eye opener in terms of knowing where you company rank in the top 64 companies. Thanks Rod

Raymond Segodi — Mon, 09/28/2009 - 10:35am

Kinda dissapointed - but not really surprised

This is a very interesting list. However, one of the groups I work with is not even on the bottom side of the list. They claim they are one of the most recognized and revenue generating groups. But, I have kind of wondered about this for some time because of the results I have personally seen. OH Well...I will still keep with it.

David Rawe — Mon, 09/28/2009 - 10:50am

Wow!

I will DEFINITELY be sharing this info with those I present to. Talk about building credibility.

Thanks Rod!

WorldVentures Will Make the List Next Year

Thanks for sharing this information Rod. Our company will be in Direct Selling News next year! WorldVentures did over 150 million our first 3 years in business and we're track to do well over 200 million by the end of 2009 alone. The direct selling industry is now taking note of our ILM (Infinite Level Marketing) structure instead of MLM (and our health plan isn't too shabby either :)

To Your Success!

Great list but...

This a great list, however, what is your source? Without a source this is incomplete.

This list seems to be quite old/outdated.

In a Recession?

Great info. I just received an email stating that in a recession, personal products, such as health, beauty, and jewelry increase in sales. From this article, I see that it true.
Out of the 64 companies I have been involved with 4 of them in my life starting at age 17. Monavie is the one I am working with now. Awesome company. I am looking at another one that will go great with all these but they are not on the list yet. How do you find out where they are ranked?
I think I will print off this list and use it when I talk to people.
Thanks,

Thumbs Up

Great article. I'm glad I read it because I've been looking at one of those companies in particular to partner with, Melaleuca. Hmmmm...number 12, very interesting. I know Cyberwize will be on this list soon.
Thanks again

Top 64 is Missing One

Ron, This was a nice post with some good information, but you left off one of the best MLM company in America, have you ever heard of Amsoil? I have been with them since 1996 and do very well with them. A real nice comp plan and a product that everyone needs, motor oil. Amsoil often gets overlooked because people don't think synthetic oil is a viable product to market, but actually is a lot easier to sell then nutritional products or exotic juices.

Source?

From the opening line...."The Direct Selling News just published a list of the top 64 network marketing/direct sales companies, all of which have annual revenues of $100 million or greater."

Warren Veach — Tue, 09/29/2009 - 6:17am

All that profit and such a fractional success rate

I guess the take-away from this report is that there is plenty of money to be made in this industry. However, it becomes painfully obvious that most of this money remains at the top of the compensation scheme.

If you're tired of tiny checks and dead down-lines then start asking better questions... they lead to better results. ;)

Great For Companies but is it Great For The Reps?

This artical is very interesting how many of the MLM, Network Marketing and Direct Sales Companies are in the millions and billions in revenue.

My question, how do the reps do in these companies? I was in the top one and had to jump through hoops to make a dime matter of fact after 14 years of service, I owed them money.

I had to educate myself to find out exactly how a rep can be a part of the revenue that the companies have generated. I now know why I could not make a decent check without jumping through hoops.

My education started with an ebook that is on my site http://maggiekress.com If you would like the same education, just download this free ebook. It only cost your time to read it for information you may not find anywhere else.

I am 72 and legally blind and looking forward to a new beginning in my life. I will find the Financial Freedom that I have always hoped for but did not know how to get it until now.

Thanks for the info on the 64 companies. It is great information and lets me know that IT CAN BE DONE THROUGH THIS METHOD. We must be educated.

God Bless
