First - Find a Residual Income Source - And Keep Your Network Marketing Mindset

Many people believe it is hard to find a residual income source, and with good reason, there are so many "opportunities" out there!  But take heart, it's not as difficult as it may seem.  Yes, there are many opportunities out there, and you do have to do your due diligence and research them properly.  It takes patience.  (Some have withstood the test and have become fabulously successful, while others - the fakers - are gone.  In this economy, we can expect to see many fraudulent "opportunities".  Remember all of the 'dot coms'?  Many of them became 'dot bombs', and now they're 'dot gones'.  It's similar to the fledgeling automobile industry at the turn of the last century.  There were more than 300 automobile manufacturers, but three emerged - Ford, Chrysler, and General Motors.)  It will take time, care, and focus.  Remember, when researching, consider the source!  Keep your network marketing mindset.  When you think about it, it is network marketing! 

Let me give you an example of proper research.  We can all agree there are many vitamin companies out there.  Some tout 'more vitamin C than anyone else's multivitamin: or our cereal has more vitamins than this other natural one...why you'd need to take this many vitamins in addition to eating one bowl of that cereal...  What they do not discuss is the synthetic vitamins whipped up in a lab, at a very low cost, compared to the concert of vitamins  appearing naturally in properly grown food.  It would be like me trying to sell you a piano that's better because it has not one Middle C, but three!  Look into the company's history.  How long had it been around?  How is it rated on consumerlab.com or consumerreport.org, or euromonitor.com?  In what class is the product found?  

Networks create wealth - radio networks, television networks, telephone networks, cell phone networks...we're all part of many networks.  Networking is meeting and connecting with people, and working together, whether online or in person.   It requires integrity, trustworthiness, and a sincere willingness to help others reach their dreams and goals.  When they win, you win.  Don't think you can fake sincerity.  You can't.  Eventually people see through it like a spotlessly clean pane of glass!  It's a law of nature.  Man may be able to escape the laws of man, but never  the laws of nature.

Look for a product line or service that interests you.  Remember, no matter how great the compensation plan, if it doesn't fire you up, you won't work it properly.  Any business needs to be worked properly!  There is always a price to pay.  In the words or Earl Nightingale, "You have a whole life to win."  Good luck, and enjoy the journey!
