Top Tier Or MLM?

If you’ve been around the Network Marketing Industry for a while now, there’s a strong chance that you are familiar with the 2 compensation structures that this Industry has to offer right now: Top Tier and MLM (Multi Level Marketing).

 
Now..what’s “the” difference between both?
 
Before you know, let me tell you that the other day I was surfing the forum here in BetterNetworker.com and came across with an old thread about this particular subject.
 
Within the post, I saw a guy talking about a particular “marketing tool” that presents the benefits of a Top Tier Program Versus the old payment structure of a traditional MLM one and how he thinks that it damages the image of MLM.
 
So, as you might be thinking right now: Why should YOU care about that?
 
Well, here’s why..
 
If you’ve ever considered the idea of starting a network marketing business or even if you are currently involved in one model, it is critical for you to understand that you have options..(thank GOD).
 
These compensation structures are the same when it comes to Marketing and Sales.
 
You market (and sell) products and get paid commissions for that.
 
The difference is HOW you are paid.
 
On one side, the "Traditional MLM Model" pays you a small commission for enrolling people in your team and something between $5 to $10 on residual commissions for the sales of your team members on the long term.
 
On the other side, a "Top Tier Program" pays you a big commission up-front and in some cases even 3 figures on the residual part for the effort (a.k.a sales) of your team members on the long run...
 
As you can see now, “the” difference is basically the amount of time that it will take you achieve your goals..
 
It’s the exactly the same thing, with the difference of how you’ll get paid.
