Why Calling Something A Scam Is A Scam.

This has been on my mind for far too long and I had to get it off my chest.  The word scam has been spammed, yes that's right SPAMMED all over the web and quite honestly its gross.

Crappy marketers use the word and associate it with names of companies and people to hijack traffic to their own websites.  Can you say Cockroach?  I mean seriously, do you want your name associated with the word scam?  Probably not.

It's a classic tail of sheep following sheep.

Newbies come onto the internet and notice that when they search for popular Keywords in our industry they see the all too common trend of this question, "Is ____ a Scam?" First of all, its the sappiest, lamest, and most amatuer headline and keyword you can use in your marketing. They follow suit, duplicating absolute lameness.

If you think for a second that the quality of your leads are going to go up if your trying to advertise to the people looking for "scam" terms, your dead wrong.  No offense, but those people are LOSERS!

People call associate celebrity's with the word Scam.  The Internet in this sense has become the bathroom wall of society where anyone with an opinion can write anything about anyone anytime they want.

I have seen people who have not guarded their brand let weasles creep in and own 1st page search engine results for their name. 

What's the best solution to ensure this NEVER happens to you?  Make sure that you own as many pages for your name. 

The next time you decide to use the word scam in your marketing, remember this. Your the scam calling someone else a scam. Don't think for a second that your offering value.
