Is There Ever A Time To Quit Your Network Marketing Company?
You may have heard that it's important to find the right network marketing company for you and stick with it no matter what? While I disagree with jumping from one company to the next, I also don't agree we should never leave one MLM for another.
Sometimes there can be valid reasons for leaving a company. One of big ones in my opinion is if the company changes the compensation plan in such a way that the distributors lose out and the company gains. This could indicate the business is in financial difficulty. Not always, but definitely a warning sign.
Another reason is if you find out something your company is doing that you personally find unethical or goes against your personal beliefs. If there is something unpleasant going on with your company or did in the past (unless it was resolved satisfactorily) that can be found on google even if it doesnt bother you, it may bother a future prospect of yours. Many people do a google search on a company while they are doing research. If they find something that may relfect badly on the company, the prospect may choose to look elsewhere.
A third reason is if you know for sure that many top leaders are leaving your company. A big exodus is not good for anyone. If company revenues decline as a result (and they are bound to in this senario) it could go out of business, especially with the economy being weak as it is today.
One reason why it may not be good to leave your network marketing company is because you arent making any money yet, or not at the level you feel you should be. If there are people making a lot of money in your company...... then so can you. Maybe you just need the right training or you haven't treated your business like a business. Get a good mentor who can teach you how to succeed. People who join one company after another always thinking "this is going to be the one this time" are almost always disappointed.
So in conclusion my opinion is..... a person should only leave a company after careful consideration and if they see these red flags such as I suggested above. Otherwise, it's counterproductive to switch companies, especially on a regular basis, when the problem is usually a lack of proper skills and training.

Great article!!
Hi Joanne, Just wanted to say I enjoyed your article alot. I recently left my old MLM because they wanted me to start marketing in a way that would interfere with being a stay-at-home mum, and also because there seemed to be a mass-exodus happening. It was a hard decision to make but there was alot of relief at the end when it was all said and done.
Thanks again for the great article. It's wonderful for someone to finally admit that sometimes you just can't stay where you currently are. It's like that saying, "For things to change, you have to change!" Andrea
