Value Vs Price In Your Network Marketing Business

Read More: MLM News

Over the last two weeks you have heard me going on about how important the value you provide to the market place is and that you should be increasing your value on a daily basis. By increasing your value you will become more valuable to the market place. Its a simple formula.

This statement has nothing to do with your primary business or any products / service that you sell. It relates directly to YOU. You become more valuable to the market place and whatever you decide to do to create wealth will have your value attached.

So how does this relate to the day-to-day hustle, the belly-to-belly grind of business?

Good question and here is my take on it.

How To Make Value Win Over Price

In business there is ultimately a price which we want our prospects to pay. Some of you are in a ‘high ticket’ G.P.T (Get Paid Today) company, some of you are in a lower priced network marketing company. Both are great and can make you a lot of money. Both require the prospect to open their wallet and buy into your business.

Here are 7 ways to make that transaction as smooth as possible.

  1. Utility – make sure your product or service is right for your prospect. If you know your prospect is looking for good residual income but your product is a G.P.T product then the two won’t work well together. Find out your prospects needs and make sure your product fits their requirements.
  2. Service – make sure you giving them a great level of service from day one and throughout  your partnership. Customer service is so essential, they should be feeling comfortable to come to you for answers with any questions / issues they maybe having with their business.
  3. Support – be dependable, if they email you reply to them as soon as you can. If they call you answer them or call them back as soon as you can. If you are going to meet them be on time. Show them that you are there for them to assist when they need you.
  4. Terms – make the payment terms fully understandable. Obviously you can’t change the payment terms the company sets but you can break them down into easy, understandable, accurate, information. Money is a sticky topic for most so make it as clear and easily digestible as possible.
  5. Ease of Use – marketing online is a mind field. Make the process (especially in the beginning) as user friendly as possible. You want to get your business partner up and running as soon as possible so that they can start making some money.
  6. Safety – whenever anyone invest their money and more importantly their time into anything they want to feel safe with who / what they just invested in. Assure them that the process / system does work as long as they are working it. Check-in with them regularly so that they feel safe under your direction.
  7. Maintenance – things change, grow, develop and nowhere does this quicker than the internet. Keep them aware of changes which will effect them. If there are tweaks which needs to be done on their system show them how to do it. Let them know of all the resources they need to keep their business up-to-date and running smoothly.

What you are doing here for your prospects / business partner is providing value. Value which will have an immediate effect on their business and yours.

There is no price to this value, they can’t get this from anywhere else because there is only one you. This is where you set yourself aside from other marketers in your company or in any company. Its going the extra miles to be worth that much more which really seals the deal.

As soon as your prospects journey started with you from when they were spying on your valuable content, to when they became a lead and they got more valuable content in their inbox, over the phone or face to face, to the point of purchase you have made the cost of investing in you less and less painful through your value.

At the point of making the financial transaction into your primary business its a foregone conclusion that they will join with you. Your value won them over regardless of the price.

Don’t stop there. Now they are with you, you need keep them with you. Getting them is one thing, keeping them is another.

Keep offering value. Be their bridge from a place of uncertainty and infancy to a successful growing business. They will learn this quality, value driven way of doing business from you and will duplicate what you have done with their leads, prospects and business partners. Your influence and effect will then of taken a whole new dimension. You just became more effective.

Have Your Say

A great way to increase value is to debate the topics at hand. This can produce refined ideas and new strategies, so feel free to add to the Value Over Price List or give your insight to the points I presented.
