Why so many people fail at Network Marketing
It is a well known fact that about 95% of people fail at network marketing. True. But if you think about it, this is true in a lot of professions. For instance, Hollywood is packed full of actors and actresses trying to make it big in the entertainment industry but only about 5% of those people end up being the next Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie. The same with sports, about 95% of the people who’s dream is to go pro never actually make it to the professional league. I am not trying to be negative, I totally believe in chasing your dreams and I don’t ever think you’re too old to quit dreaming. But the fact of the matter is that a lot of people fail at whatever they pursue. So, how hard are you willing to work to achieve your life goals and dreams…..that’s up to you!
Well then, why do so many people fail in this industry? There are many factors, but I can say that it truly starts with your mindset coming into this industry. You must keep in mind that network marketing is a great way to start a home based business, but it is just that….A BUSINESS! Sadly, too many people think that network marketing or MLM is a get rich quick deal where you can become a millionaire in no time flat. Wrong! It takes a lot of time and hard work to build a successful business no matter what industry you are in.
Patience and persistence is a couple of other factors that you must master to be successful in network marketing. You have to be able to fight through the hard days and not get too unfocused on the easier days. Determine that you are not going to let anyone else be in control of your success. If someone says “no”, don’t take it personal, they are not saying no to you, they are simply saying “now is not my time”. The thought of starting a home based business is very appealing to most, who wouldn’t want to be their own boss, just make sure that you are prepared for what it takes to be your own boss and build your home based empire.
This is an industry where you truly get paid for what you do and who you help. They say that the most successful people are the ones who survive the first six months and I believe this to be true. So ask yourself, how much does your financial freedom mean to you? What sacrifices will you make to be your own boss and own your own home based business? How much weight can you carry in the beginning to have your independence in the end? The sky is the limit and I hope to see you up there!
