MLM Strategy - Dangling The Carrot...

Read More: Sponsoring and Recruiting

Your success has nothing to do with your upline having a two million dollars home
and driving a Lamborghini.
I see  people joining opportunities based on hype. I also see people that join and stick to a company with a terrible compensation plan just because '' the upline is making $900.000 per year''.
So what? What does that do for you?
That the upline can sell ice to eskimos does not matter.
It's you that matters, and what works for your personality type.
Sell...sell...sell...recruit...recruit...recruit does not work for most of us. That business model is sooooo not duplicatable, even if it does work for a small number of network marketers.
Remember... the heavy hitters have no problem replacing people over and over again...
Someone drops out, so what ? They can recruit another in no time.

They can, they are very good at it, they have the pesonality type to do it and I think that's great.

But that does not mean you and I can do it, and that's perfectly OK. We can be successful without having to try to become a heavy hitter.
Please don't listen to the ones that tell you that you have to change who you are to be successful.
Don't listen to the ones telling you that in order to be successful, you have to recruit your neighbours and make a list of your friends and family.

Another point I want to make when it comes to dangling the carrot strategy is getting paid very little, lets say 1%-2% on your first few levels of your compensation plan .

I know what most of you are going to say: ''But...if I reach level 10 I'll get 40%''.

Here is a reality check:
Most people don't go over levels 2 or 3, and that's statistics, that is not an excuse like some of you might say.
Most people are part-timers and they need to get paid early and they need to get paid fairly and often. Otherwise, what's the incentive for them to stick around?...
And please don't say ''the 40% on level 10''...

I appreciate you,
Daniela Riess

Great Job Daniela

Everything is so true.  The heavy hitters may not want people to read this because it goes against all the dangling they have been doing.  Thank you.  I love your book!

Amen to that

Daniela,

Good stuff girl.  It's not about your compensation plans or how much money your upline makes or what kind of car you drive.  The glue that holds businesses together is love.  You must first take the responsibility to show your people that you care about them and their dreams and goals.

People dont care how much you know until they know how much you care, period...End of Story...

A Funded proposal system is important in prospecting and putting people through the process or filter system.  If people wont pay for information, they wont last very long in your business.  Knowledge is not power, but the application of knowledge is they key to a successful business.

Its your duty as a mentor and business owner to provide and protect a new business owner. Take them by the hand and walk them through the process, if they want to be walked.  If not, you have the wrong person.  Its hard to walk fast when your dragging people behind you. Work with the people that want to get after this thing with every fiber in their body and let the rest incubate until they are ready to run.

You will run into three types of people:

1. People Who are ready to roll

2. People who want to watch for a while

3. People who get in and then get abducted by aliens

Number 1 is money in the bank and a best friend for life if you will serve them.

Oh the Truth can Hurt

I am amazed how many people join an MLM without realing knowing how they get paid. I'm talking numbers here, not potential numbers. For those wanting to work for free, I have some weeds in my back yard you can pull. Just for incentive, you COULD make a million dollars doing it. Great article Daniela.

MLM Strategies

Right on Daniela!

A carrot it is and a big one like you are showing.

"I make $1,000,000 a year, and so can't you!" Heard it so many times.

We need to know what we are getting into.

If you work hard, which a lot of MLMers do, and commit to that business, you need to be compensated fairly for your time and expenses.

Good Article.
