MLM training ( Activity vs. Productivity )
In my industry of Multi Level Marketing ( Network Marketing ) many confuse activity with productivity. I can see how the (2) can be easily confused. In many instances activity can look a lot like productivity but there are certain differences between the (2). Today I want to point out (3) things that can easily be confused with productivity.
- Attending weekly events and MLM trainings.Although attending weekly events and MLM trainings is important to your business, that does not make it productive. If you want to turn this activity into productivity you can do so by attending these events with guests and with new distributors.
- Handing 3rd. party tools to people you meet online and/or off line. 3rd. party exposures are crucial to your MLM business, at least that's what you keep hearing at your MLM training meetings. However what most leaders neglect to tell you is that unless you collect a name, number and schedule a follow up call and actually call, then handing out a 3rd. party tools is nothing more than just activity and by no means can you call it productivity.
- Posting videos on different video sites. Utilizing web 2.0 to build your Network Marketing business in todays world is a concept that you are not yet hearing about when you attend your MLM training, but mark my word, you will hear about it sooner or later. We just happen to be ahead of the masses. Posting videos is an activity and not productivity unless you have a page where your viewers can subscribe and receive your follow up e-mails, unless you have a plan to get your views up and unless you can make contacts and deliver valuable content. So let's not confuse activity with productivity. Stay productive and build a strong network of people that will take your MLM training and run with it.
Another thing, in order to stay productive you have to remain organized, the 2 go side by side so here is an extra tip:
- Purchase a Planner and use it for everything you do. In business today we need to remain focused on managing our time during the day, it doesn't matter the type of planner for now(Electronic or not)just purchase a planner and get into the habit of scheduling your time.
I Hope this brings value to you as we move forward in our business. Should you have any questions or need additional help contact me. My information is below. Thank you.

mlm training
Internet business in a way is like setting up a new business in town. We need to be prepared to invest in the tools and supplies needed when we are getting started. I have a 6 stack plastic holder for my folders. I have20 folders marked and put onto these stackable trays by alfalbetic order. If you stay organized from the beginning and create a neat office area you will have peace of mind in the future. I read free e books from everywhere. Always keep learning.
Picking a right company. 90% fail the first year. The 3-5 year mark another 20% fail. I want real products that I love. We must have a contract to protect ourselves. No matter where you work or who you work for, there is always risk. No gaurentees in this job area. But work with those you enjoy being with, that is for sure. If you get one new person a month and stick with them with no pressure to them and help them get organized, it will say a lot for your intregrty.
