My Story

I have had a blessed life. From a college degree, to soloing in a Cherokee single wing airplane. On my father's 80th birthday, who is a WWII air force pilot, I surprised him at Van Nuys airport with family and friends and taxied away alone in the cherokee... knowing he just figured out what I was about to do... After successfully landing perfectly and taxiing back to them, I could hardly make my way out onto the wing, as we hugged, cried and not a dry eye to be found, he pinned his wings on me.

That was a defining moment in my life!

I am an artist from the inside out and I painted anything I could find (including porcelain), then my first job in one of the largest and most prestigious publishing firms in Hollywood… I was promoted quickly.

Stayed home to raise my family and was then recruited to the County Supervisor’s Office after ranking in the top 3 out of 2000 who tested. I managed the office serving for two terms (8 years). Not ready to retire, I began a career as a muralist working with interior designers generating a substantial income…. BUT that wasn’t enough for me! I became a financial planner.

As a successful, professional woman and grandmother who is committed to making a difference in people’s lives, I am excited to tell you to look seriously at WMI.
