Relationships are about being honest and trustworthy. When you put the relationship first, customers and clients will forgive your mistakes. Relationships are about giving unconditionally. A prospect that receives a personal, customized follow-up card or even an initial marketing card from you is more likely to do business with you than your competitor. My business inspires hope, dignity & pride within me. I especially love sharing those dynamics with others, as they see "the light come on" for themselves, as they find the same value and benefit. As each person in your downline is busy building their business, they are also building yours as well. That's the power of leverage. Good customers often, by word of mouth, promote businesses in ways unimaginable. Viral marketing is one of the most powerful sales tools available. If you make a point to put integrity first that will resonate with your customers and they will think of you as a representative of a trustworthy company. Unfortunately, I think we sometimes get swept away by all that "hype and close" and forget to apply what we believe in on a personal level to our business. The definition of a relationship is a connection or involvement.
