14 TIPS – FOR A SUCCESSFUL HOME BUSINESS

1BE PATIENT.   Stick to the plans or goals that you have set for your business success.  If you stumble or obstacles develop, get back up and continue working your planSuccess is a process, it doesn’t happen overnight.

 

2.   HAVE FAITHTrust that you can carry out the goals that you have set (they should be written goals) you have set for yourself in building your business.  Believe in them, that they will be accomplished.  Faith is defined as “belief without firm proof”.  Visualize the completion of your goal before it actually happens.  See things you want as already yours  before you obtain them.

 

3.   BE COMMITTEDDedicate yourself to the goals you have set.  Make every effort to make them a success.  Set a schedule and let nothing interfere with that schedule.  Don’t make excuses.  Self discipline is one of the keys to being committed, and can help to strengthen your will power.

 

4.   BE COACHABLE.  Be willing to change to in order to be better.  Show humility.  Don’t be afraid to be a follower until you learn to be a leader.  Be committed to change don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.  Be appreciative of new ideas and input. 

 

5.   HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE.  Believe in yourself and your abilities.  It allows you to have great inner strength, earns your respect from those around you, and allows you to accomplish your goals and success at a much faster and smoother pace.  A negative attitude does not allow success.  If you think that you are capable, you are capable.

 

6.   BE CONSISTENT.  Consistency is a must in building a successful business.  Establish uniformity in whatever steps you take in building your business.  Don’t be complacent.  You want to be consistent with everything you do and say relating to your beliefs about your business.

 

7.   BE OPTOMISTIC.  Use your source of inspiration, the things that make you happy, that keep you motivated, that make you feel good.  Let nothing disturb your peace of mind.  Look at the positive side of things.  When you work for the very best, you think of the very best, and you expect the very best.

 

8.   BE PERSISTENT.  No matter how many obstacles you may encounter along the way, persevere and endure.  Be determined.  Don’t quit!

 

9.   BE FOCUSED.  Focus on the important elements of your plans or goals.  Determine how you plan to execute them and the order in which you plan to do so.  If they fail, don’t quit! Determine why they failed.  Work on the solution and revise them.  (This may allow you to be aware of the need for changes).    

 

10. BE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EDUCATED.  Self-development should be an important  part of and a driving force for your success.  Build your self-development Library read materials that may deal with the skills you need to accomplish your goals, listen to audios, attend seminars, events or workshops.  Once this is done, practice what you have learned.  Become a leader.

11. BE EXCITED.    Be excited about what you’re doing in your business.  That excitement usually comes because of your “why”, the reason you are building your business, it can be the driving force behind your excitement. 

 

12. BE PERSONABLE.  Establish a rapport with your leads or prospects.  Find common grounds with them, something you may have in common.  Be nice, give a nice smile. No    rapport runs the risk of driving potential prospects away.

 

13. BE SUPPORTIVE.  Be supportive and helpful to your leads and prospects.  Find out what they may need, what are some of the things they’re doing to build their business, provide   them with something of value that may assist them.

 

14. FIND A MENTOR.  It’s important that you form the right relationships.  Forming the right relationships can be essential to building your success and achievements.  Associate with the kind of people you like, respect, and admire, the kind of people you would like to introduce to others.  Find someone who has had their struggles but have now reached their success, someone who can teach you what they learned while reaching for success.
