5 IF’s Which Make Life Worthwhile. A Jim Rohn And Dwayne Huggins Collaboration
It’s no secret that Jim Rohn literally changed my way of thinking for the better. I have made mention of him many times throughout my articles because of the pro-found effect he has had on my life.
I still listen to his audiobooks and I still find great value which I apply to my life and continue to make improvements.
Recently whilst re-listening to one of Jim’s audiobooks I came across his 4 IF’s for making life worth while. I have added one more IF to his list, I’m sure he won’t mind.
Life Is Worthwhile IF:
1. You Learn (Jim Rohn) – By learning we grow, we broaden the scope of what we can achieve, we create for ourselves opportunities which will not be there unless we learn.
You have all heard and I am sure agree with the statement “if your not growing, learning self developing, you are dying”.
To get more you have to learn, it is as simple as that.
If you want to have your prospects coming to you asking you about your business you have to learn attraction marketing.
If you want to have more money you have to learn how to increase your value to the market place.
If you want to get a job promotion you have to learn the necessary skills required for the job promotion you seek.
Feel free to add you own IFs in here (…………………).
By learning you add value to your life making your life more worthwhile.
2. You Plan (Dwayne Huggins) – By planning you are bringing your future into your present, giving you control over what happens next in your life.
Going through life with no plan is risky business. Without your own plan you will become the victim of someone else’s plan.
Would it not be worthwhile to know where you want to be in ten years and be actively working towards it from now. Instead of reaching ten years down the line, thinking back and saying “I wish I had done this, I wish I had done that or IF only I had…..”
Planning is your crystal ball to the future, do I need to explain how worthwhile that is to your life?
3. You Try (Jim Rohn) – As you have the knowledge and your plan you now have to try your methods and philosophies.
Knowledge is not power. Applying the knowledge is what gets you to where you want to go.
Try it one way, if that doesn’t work try it another way, keep trying until you are satisfied with the results.
Trying makes life worthwhile because it is the ACTION to your knowledge and your plan.
4. You Stay (Jim Rohn) – Staying on course. Staying is not giving up. Staying is pushing on through past the nay-sayers, dream stealers, negative attitudes and all the trials and tribulations which come your way.
By staying on course you also develop and unshakable character which is a great leadership quality.
Behind all great successes is a story of adversity. The successor stayed focused on the prize and was well rewarded for their efforts.
Staying makes life worthwhile because it brings you your dreams.
5. You Care (Jim Rohn) – “If you care at all, you will get some results. If you care enough, you can get incredible results. Care enough to make a difference. Care enough to turn somebody around. Care enough to start a new enterprise. Care enough to change it all. Care enough to be the highest producer. Care enough to set some records. Care enough to win.” – Jim’s exact words.
By caring you take onboard all you can be and all you can give. This ability allows you to get all you can get.
As simple as these 5 IFs may sound they hold a wealth of value to everyone’s life.
I apply these 5 IF’s in my life and the change has been great. You can to. I guarantee you will also see some amazing changes.

Dwayne,
Jim Rohn was, and is still a great inspiration to me. I love the way you broke down the "IF's" and integrated the 5th IF (ha).
Thanks for a quality post.
Jim Rohn, the godfather of MLM
His audio CD was on of the first things I heard about MLM and I still love it.
Best regards
