A 6 month call to action inspired by “The Pursuit of Happyness”
Have you had a chance to watch or read "The Pursuit of Happyness"? I saw it for the first time this week and I was overwhelmed with happiness. It was late at night and I was sitting in my pj's wrapped in a quilt in the comfort of my own home thinking... what would I do, what would I put up with, what could I do without... in order to pursue my dreams?
I had been fretting about all the things I need to learn to take me to the next level of online marketing. Everything I've implemented has been working great and the fantastic amount of online resources is incredible. But, the movie really got me thinking about the next 6 months... that's when I heard Mike Dillard's message loud and clear... If you commit to learning one thing over the next 6 months that could change everything would you? There are no guarantees - yet you'll know more about this one thing in March than you do today.
Breaking goals into 6 month chunks, a trick I learned from "The 4 Hour Work Week", helps make them manageable and keeps me on track. If I apply the same method to learning, what would that look like? I wouldn't be spreading myself thin over many areas, but instead I would be mastering a method. I'd be positioning myself as an expert... a leader... and as we know, "knowing is half the battle!" Thank you GI Joe.
So that's the challenge...what do you want to know more about?
Pick one lead generation tool... cold calling, PPC, social networking, article writing, blogging, videos or anything and devote your time to mastering it. There is a whole network of resources online to help. Let's say the goal is to average 15 leads a day just from this one tool by March of 2010.
I'm looking forward to taking this journey with you.
Tami

Love tha quote.
That is my very favorite quote of any movie ever. Because it is so true.
If you have a dream people will pick at it because if they can't do it, they want you not to do it either.
People are just downers towards the dreamers.
The second best movie quotes is in the newest Rocky.
When Rocky and his son are arguing about him going back to fight.
I don't remember the exact quote, but it was basically the son blaming Rocky for not being happy.
And Rocky starts yelling saying that life's not about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. You can't make excuses because that what cowards do.
I think that's true for network marketing too.
My bad for going off on my own little tangent there, but again nice choice on the quote :)
