A Little Fish In A Big Pond

Read More: Personal Development

I must tell you all, that by all accounts I am fairly new to network marketing and in the
past several months have learned a lot. I have done many things on the internet to try to make money.
That is different than being successful.  What does this mean to me? The difference is when you only try to make money on the internet you will join any and all of the newest and shiniest programs that promise a dollar.  With great hopes that some other sucker will come along and see YOUR page and want in on the sweetest deal known to man. At this you make a buck, if your lucky. But hey, all I need is 10 people all getting 10 more people , getting 10 more people and so on and so on, ( like the shampoo commercial ) and then I am on easy street. Ok, well there is a problem. The suckers are few and far between, which is amazing since there are tons of these kinds of Programs and someone always falls for them.

Now lets get to being successful. That is when you have found your you, and people like that. I can tell you when I started with the 5 Pillar company I am with right now, I didn’t do so because it was shiny and new. I actually was denied access by my sponsor because I didn’t even know why it was I wanted to join. I thought I did. It was to make money…..right? NO !! When you  join something for this reason alone you are setting yourself up for failure. He took me through a process that make me look within myself to answer some tough questions and find out who was Zelphina and what are her Dreams. I learned more than I wanted to know. I learned that I had been a fool for a long time. What I had done previously trying to make money on the internet was dumb.. Now wanting to be successful……This is big!!

This means making a name for yourself. Being coach able, learning, getting yourself out there and becoming a leader. Not just re-plastering some hashed out webpage for someone else to buy. The real guts is being brave enough to put your name on your work regardless of what people might say, because YOU believe in it. Lets face it we won’t  make the whole world happy.

What does this have to do with a little fish? The Network Marketing industry is so huge that there is something for everyone. What the beauty of it is, is when you can connect with someone who has been in the industry for many years and they ask a little fish for help.  Not for my years of experience in the field,
remember, I was only trying to make money before, but  for what I have learned since and the same information this little fish was given, even some seasoned pros need to learn. Being a seasoned pro does not mean you know it all.

I have fallen in love with this industry, thanks to the help of my sponsor/ mentor making me look within myself, the many other mentors giving me direction and encouragement, and the people I meet everyday that open my eyes to new possibilities of just how Great this industry is and what is to be.

What is the point of all this?
1. Never try to make money on the internet….you will fail…..miserably
     Financially and personally
2. No experience a wasted one….learn something from it
3.Look inside to find the real you , why do you want to be SUCCESSFUL
4. Never, never, never, think ya know it all

Now is a good time to see what you need to know.

Great Info

Making money online is challenging and doesn't happen overnight. Anyone who claims it does is just shoveling the hype on thick and misleading people. Sticking to it and applying the necessary skills for success is key.

I love it, Zelphina!

I love what you said, Zelphina! Your sponsor wasn't ready to sign you up, he wanted to make sure your reasons were right, first! He also made sure you were ready to help others AND, like you can do with others, he chose you as someone he wants to work with!

Telling It Like it Is!!

Hey Zephina, I commend you for writing this article. The truth is the truth is the truth. Great Value. I hope new and intermediate marketers read this. I loved the last sentence " Never, never, never, think ya know it all
Now is a good time to see what you need to know.

Thanks Zelphina!

What a great post - you are so right, there is something for everyone in network marketing. And I LOVE that quote "It's what we learn after we know it all that counts". Never let your ego get so big you think you can't learn from someone just coming up - fresh minds will always be entering the industry and we can always learn from one another, no matter who we are!
