A Recipe For Failure by Jeffery Combs

Read More: Personal Development

We've been listening to a wonderful series of interviews of MLM leaders by Jerry DRhino Clark.

Jeffery Combs is a very successful network marketer who told Jerry that he had spent his teen years rebelling and partying, his twenties in alcohol and addictions, his thirties in recovery, and his forties working toward his now successful career, making multiple six and seven figure incomes and helping many others do the same.

Jeff told Jerry that in his experience, the people on his team who were failing all had three things in common:

    * Lack of self esteem from unresolved issues in their past
    * A language of lack, need, and want
    * Poor listening skills

We are fortunate to be part of a Mastermind Group that addresses all three of these challenges.  When someone joins us in our business, this is one of the first things we ask them to do!

Please join us once a week to discuss a chapter at a time of 'Think and Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill.  Start by clicking here.

Your Balloon Will Never Get Off The Ground !

If we are dragged down by any one of those limitations that are mentioned in this article our business will never get off the ground unless we can overcome the obstacles that are keeping us from excaping the prison that contains us. If we value ourselves enough to take the time to get educated about personal developement no limitations in this world will be able to hold us back.

Thank You For Sharing Bob and Anna,

Study the successful!

Bob and Anna....I will say YES to your article and the fact that people need to study those who have found success and pattern our life after what has worked for them. Think and grow rich is an awesome book!

You are 5% of the people you associate with!!!

Hi Bob & Anna,

This is very true. When you hang around winners long enough you will eventually model yourself into there winning ways.

Thank You

Have a Blessed Day,

I have to Agree with this article and Jeffrey Combs.

Anna & Bob, Jeffrey Combs gives great advice. When you hear successful marketers talk, they have an abundance mentality. Their "posture" is so positive. You NEVER hear lack. Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich is an excellent book. Anna and Bob, I love listening and learning when we go over the chapters each week. Thank you for this great article on Personal Development. Personal Development is 24/7 and a must in this Industry.

One of my favorites

Think and Grow Rich is worth reading over & over. The pages of my book are highlighted and dog-eared. Some pages are coffee-stained... That's how good it is. Dr. Hill's concepts are as contemporary as if they were written yesterday.

Margie, I have to agree!

Napoleon Hills concepts seem as though they were written yesterday. It is one of my most favorite books and I also love listening to the chapters. Great Personal development book and as I stated in my comment to Anna and Bob. Think and Grow Rich is a tool/something you read over and over for reference, understanding, knowledge, etc... I agree totally!!

Thanks to everyone for the great comments!

People can fail through lack of skills, but it all comes back to personal development. Skills come far more easily when we are solid in ourselves. If we aren't, no skills will help.

Those are three very deadly traits.

Thanks for exposing them to the light of day!
