Aaron Chen is someone who I’ve recently started following. I enjoy his youtube videos, as they are educational and worth watching. I’m also enjoying his blog. Recently Aaron wrote a blog about his “Unlimited Residual Income Earning Guide.” This is his tips and strategies collected over time that he uses to improve his knowledge through ebooks, courses and tools.

 
I like the fact that he lets you know right up front that this is not easy. How many ads do you see every day with people that want to show you how to make $500,000 your first year – with no selling. Uh huh. By using the following tips, you significantly increase the chances of your success to be able to become a top producer in your business and earn you the right to have unlimited residual income.
 
1. Choose a Good Company
Join a company that has been around for awhile and has a decent product. The comp plan should be easy to understand and should pay you for actually doing work. Never join prelaunches - 9 out of 10 prelaunches fail within the first 3 months. It’s not worth taking the risk, even if you are promised to “get in from the ground level”.
 
2. Self Branding
The goal is to have people calling you, instead of the other way round. That’s what I like about the attraction style marketing; leave your friends and family alone! If you want to make the most out of your network marketing career, the only thing you will need to learn how to sell is YOU. People join other people, they don’t join companies. Become a person that people WANT to be in business with.
 
3. Leverage The Internet
Talking to friends and family is an extremely difficult way to get good results. Embrace the power of the Internet and you will get better results. Not only can you reach a heck of a lot more people more quickly, it’s also the easiest way to truly have a worldwide business instead of just a local one.
 
4. Duplicate System
In order to streamline your processes, you will need to have some sort of marketing or lead generation system. The key is to have a system that teaches you how to market in all the different areas you want and gives you the tools to attract prospects to your business. This same system can then be used to train new distributors quickly and easily. You’ll have a lot more time to work on building your business instead of spending all your time training your distributors.
 
5. Multiple Streams Of Income
The problem with network marketing is you only get paid if people join your business. That is why you need to find a way to make money from most of the people that come through your business process, even if they don’t join your main MLM business. This is where a funded proposal may come into place. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.
 
6. Focus
The secret to success in this business is to focus on what you are doing and to not get distracted. (This is my big one – so much to learn, so little time!) If you’ve read “Your First Year in Network Marketing, you’ll know that lots of different opportunities will be thrown your way throughout your journey – and they all seem so enticing, don’t they?
However, you really need to focus on what you are working on. How do you expect to be successful in 3 different opportunities, if you aren’t even successful in one?
 
The last piece of this puzzle is to remember that a business takes time to build. (So much for “God grant me patience, and give it to me NOW!) Yes, this industry is a marathon, not a sprint. No matter what all those other folks are telling you, there is no quick and easy route to achieve success especially if you are looking for unlimited residual income. So take your time, and make sure you take action every single day.
