Baby Boomer Business Owners Top 3 Books To Read This Summer

Read More: Personal Development

One of the things we love about summer is sitting on the beach or poolside with a good book.

We love to read and we love continuing to learn about business and for me,

as a baby boomer business owner it’s important to constantly learn and develop new skills.

So today, sitting poolside, I was reading the Timothy Ferriss book, “The 4-Hour Workweek.” I have read this book a couple of times before but it’s one of those books that you can go back to and get new information from each time you read it.

We thought it would be fun to share with you which books have been especially helpful for me as a baby boomer business owner. So here are the 3 books we have spent time reading this summer that we think you will enjoy too. They were all books we had on our shelf that we grabbed on the way to the pool or that were on my Kindle that I took to the Caribbean a couple of weeks ago and that we keep going back to time and time again.

Book 1. “The 4-Hour Workweek byTimothy Ferriss. This is a great summer read. It challenges us to look at our lifestyle and create a more meaningful life. As most of you know we are all about a great lifestyle. We love the, “mobile lifestyle,” we have and that he recommends in this book. There are tons of ideas about how to create the lifestyle that you want and how to automate your business using the tools that are readily available to us today. This is a great book especially for baby boomer business owners.

Book 2. “Think And Grow Rich by Napolean Hill. We can’t say how many times we have read this book. I am not even sure when the first time I read it was it was so long ago, but it’s a book that I find inspirational. In this book Napolean Hill interviews top businessmen, and billionaires at the time and discovers the common keys to success. What I love about this book is that the keys to success haven’t changed through time and can all be learned no matter who you are.

Book 3. “Hypnotic Writing” by Joe Vitale. This is a great easy to read book that we reference to all the time. Just like the keys to success haven’t changed over time, copywriting hasn’t either. Joe shares the very basics of copywriting that helps in your writing of everything from a blog title to a sales letter.
