I woke up this morning to a letter from a mentoring client. Saying "I'm bored of doing the same thing and I want to advance to a more exciting part of the business training."

What makes a business profitable is its consistency, not its excitement.

Excitement amounts to change, randomness, and surprise.

Consistency, on the other hand, means repetition, routine, and predictability.

The problem so many online entrepreneurs have is that they are FEINDS for excitement. They change and shift strategy, product, and website always looking for maximum fun.

This DESTROYS a business.

Consider when a customer arrives at the IN-N-OUT Drive-Thru window to order a Hamburger, she expects the SAME hamburger she got the last time she ordered it. Not a surprise ingredient or a new taste.

I mean, the employee PROBABLY got bored of putting meat patties between buns with lettuce and tomato, and exchanging burgers for money...but it shouldn't matter.

Even Lynsi Martinez (president of In-N-Out), if one day she got bored of selling the same Hamburgers would literally DEMOLISH the 64 year old company and lose $465,000,000  in one instant.

It's no different when you're businessing online.

Discipline and consistency is a KEY business skill.
