Well, it’s here….2010! This is the time that the world is making New Year’s resolutions. What is a New Years Resolution?
The problem with doing this is that most of us set the standards too high.
Some goals are truly impossible to reach.

Definition of resolution; resolving, firmness, purpose or thing resolved upon, decision of court, vote or assembly.

Most resolutions are made to loose weight, exercise more, eat healthier or even make more money and become a successful entrepreneur.

All of these are good and profound; however, if the bar is set too high, we find it overwhelming, unreachable and what were good intensions diminish. We begin to have thoughts of our goals being the impossible. We then quit and go back to the way we were, even worse than before sometimes.

Bad habits come back, lying back down on the couch while television becomes our way of life (can’t miss that show, Homer Simpson's failed New Years Resolution
therefore I can’t go for that walk or go to the gym), unhealthy snacks, and we stop focusing on our businesses ending
in other venture that doesn’t work.

What I have done instead of a New Years Resolution is set myself to be a New Years Revolution.

Definition of revolution; great change, complete rotation, turning or spinning around, take over.

I am now a Turn Around Specialist. I am taking action to change my life habits, without setting an unrealistic goal. I am eating healthier, the weight will come off without even thinking about it. I am exercising more, even my dog is getting more out of that, making my muscles, lungs and heart stronger, giving me more energy and preventing diseases. I want to be around for the ones who love me.

Key to a Successful 2010 Even improving the financial and quality of my life are in motion. I am seeking knowledge to what I don’t know. You never know what you don’t know until you find it. Get it? I am focused, determined and I have a decided heart. Nothing is going to stop me from growing into a healthy, happy and successful entrepreneur in my business.

No matter which business you decide to venture into, it can work. You must believe, stay focused, determined, turn off the TV and have passion for what you are doing. With these traits, you are sure to reach your goals. Don’t set the compensation too high and too soon. Anything worthwhile takes time and will also build a strong foundation to develop into your dream life style.

So my challenge to you is to stop setting unrealistic goals, known as resolution, and to turn yourself around and be a revolution. Take back the control of your life today! Your actions will change your life, for the better.

To Your Revolutionary 2010!

Yes

I have decided to just do it, not say it anymore. I write it down, and attack. You are so right about it making a difference. Thanks.

Be Like Nike

Great article Virginia! If we could all be like the Nike and just do it we would see so many of our goals and dreams accomplished.

Change who you are

Many people stop diets, stop businesses,ect... Many people like to say that IT failed when really they just STOPPED doing it.

The problem is you need to change who you are this takes time. Go from watching 8 hr TV every night to building a business. Go from eating McDonalds every day to eating healthy. Most will fail at this. The key is life style changes.
