Is There A Boundary Line For Success?

What Is Success To You?

"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of  children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false  friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit  better, whether by healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to  Know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; this is to have succeeded."

BY Ralph Waldo

At first glance of what I was attempting to accomplish for myself in life, I had to accept, sometimes difficult to do, I had made many mistakes before this point. Working many hours a day, each and everyday for almost two years, I was trying to achieve my success in as short of time as I possibly could. Well, in actual reality it doesn't quite work that way. "Rome wasn't built in a day" nor was the Heavens and earth created
in a day.

This caused me to really take a good look at what I wanted to achieve in this lifetime and what all was required of me to accomplish the goal. Now, realizing I had made many mistakes for most parts of my life meant that if I truly wanted success for Kevin, there was going to be a lot of dedicated and a sincere effort, and time to reverse my circumstances.

While reminiscing... what is success? It lead me to this very point and time of writing this article. I had to do a little research on the topic although I already had my interpretation of success. I stumbled upon a staggering enlightenment of the many different interpretations of what success meant to other people, and to my surprise there is really no boundaries to what success is.

My interpretation of success (in layman terms) is what ever it may be that a person is wanting (a tangible thing), or needing to do (completing a task) and complete the process of either two is success! As far the length of time is concerned in completing the task is of no importance. The important thing is to compete the task.

When we start a business, online or offline, we tend to look at the end results of what we're trying to accomplish instead of focusing on what is expect to achieve those results. I know I looked at the possibilities of when my business will be making me a lot of money, but today I'm still not making a lot of money. This does not mean I have failed in reaching my goal, it only means I have work to do until I reach that goal. As long as there is breath and life in me there is great possibility of succeeding.

To aid us in achieving our goal destination, we follow others that have achieved accomplishments and success in their life. Many times in order for us to reach our goal we have to sacrifice something in return. Success is achieved not by doing what we want, but doing what is required to manifest that goal. Sitting down watching television or working at out business when we want is not going to get us where we're trying to get. Each and every day we do a little work (not at our business), but in our business until we start to see results.

I find strength and encouragement in these thoughts for success:

* "There is but one cause of human failure. And that is man's lack of faith in his true
   self."  William James

* "The ability to discipline yourself to delay gratification in the short-term in order
to enjoy greater rewards in the long-term is the indispensable prerequisite for
   success."  Brian Tracy

* Michael Masterson of the Ezine "Early to Rise" writes: "Action is the key to success,
and failure to act is the reason most people will never achieve the kind of success
  they dream about"

I hope there was some encouragement here for you and if you're one of those kind of people who expect success to come to you by little or no effort, you will never achieve anything in life. We must WORK at accomplishing our goal's destination in order to reach the end result. Thanks for your time & God Bless.

To your greatest of success!
