Alright Better Networker... the bottomline is we are in business, and buisness people invest money in their business and themselves and take proactive action to produce more income... period!

Yet, so often we hear people (especially newbies) whine and complain about lack of capital to get their business going properly it's nuts!

While it's unfortunate that some folks really can't afford to invest even a few bucks in their business due to certain circumstances... I dare to say that the vast majority of people who complain about their lack of funding simply need better discipline and some guidance in "finding the money" by changing their habits. 

After, the home business industry is about the EASIEST and the most affordable business venture anyone can start. The barrier of entry is generally just a fraction of one month worth of rent a traditional business owner would have to pay out to operate their business!

You see... you have to deal with money, it is a way of life. Developing responsible habits with your finances is important to accomplish. You should always try to learn as much about managing money and how to develop financial independence. In this article, you'll find many tips to get you started down the path of smarter financial decisions and eventually more prosperity in business and life.

If you are budgeting, it must be based on reality in regards to your income and essential needs.

Evaluate all your sources of income, such as that from investments, interest and second jobs... and make sure that these numbers are taken from your net income, not your gross income.

Once you have hard numbers, you can design a budget that fits them. For the most successful budget, your spending should never exceed your income.

Keep careful track of all your expenses when working to create a financial plan. You want your list to reflect both monthly payments and less frequent ones. Insurance premiums and vehicle maintenance costs, such as oil changes, are also important to consider when adding up your budget.

You should also add the money you spend on food, entertainment, and any other assorted expenses, like payments on a storage unit. Remember to make allowances for even the least formal type of your spending, like the babysitter down the block or the coffee you pick up on the way to work. If you establish a good list of your expenses, you will be able to calculate a good budget.

Coffee shops are a luxury expense that can be discarded. Take coffee from home instead. Study your budget carefully, and do away with any unwarranted expenses, even if you have to make some small sacrifices.

You should think about upgrading your home to reduce utility costs. Try buying newer, more energy efficient windows to help lower heating and cooling costs. Another option is to buy a modern tankless water heater. Keep your water bill low by checking for and repairing leaks right away.

You can lower your electric and water bills by only running appliances, like your dishwasher and washing machine, when they are full.

Replace your appliances with models that are more energy-efficient. Although they can pricey, they will save you money over time. Try to unplug appliances when they are not in use. In time you will notice a significant savings in your energy consumption.

Be sure to use good insulation in your floors, walls and ceilings to keep inclement weather out and a comfortable air temperature in. You can quickly recoup the money you spend on making these updates through the money you save on your energy bills.

Using these ideas, you'll keep more money for yourself

 and balance your earnings with your expenditures. Invest the money you have saved into your business! This will give you more control over your finances and leap forward toward a better way of life (you still must take action... don't forget)!
