Mountain’s & Valley’s Both Are Good (All About Perspective)

The Mayo Clinic once stated that the illnesses in 80 to 85% of their caseload were caused by stress. An article in a leading medical journal entitled "Is Stress the Cause of All Disease?" said that at the beginning of the century, bacteria were the leading cause of illness but today stress has replaced bacteria.

We all long for an inner calm - especially in the valleys of life. We all want, pray for and pursue peace. At the point of desperation, some people pursue peace by numbing their pain with alcohol, drugs, sex ... food ... success ... the list is endless. Remember the old country song that says we look for love in all the wrong places and on the wrong faces? The same can be said about peace.

We must stay on course and work through the course of whatever it is we are going through in life.

I heard a old adage once and it went like this.  When a bear climbs a mountain he sees another mountain.  Some folks forget that he had to go through the valley to get to the other mountain.

Don’t let anyone tell you that the valley is bad.  For you see in the valley is where the richest soil is formed for the best crop. The nutrients in the valley give you the strength to climb the next mountain.

Now here is the gage or point that needs to be made if you are not getting stronger after each endeavor and making progress you may be in the wrong range.

Well said Danny

We all have ups and downs. If we take the time to learn from our experiences we will have more peace, as you say, and less stress too. This article, like all of your articles is well thought out and professionally presented. Thank you for your insight.

You are alive when you have ups and downs

Everyone wants everything to happen fast and keep happening fast that is not how it works in real life there is ebb and flow, Valley and Mountain, We have to take it all and learn. We need to understand our business goes through the samething. If you think nothing is happening you would be so wrong. Strong currents are causing change all the time. So plant and Reap. And do not tire out! and you will Reap what you sow

I liked the part about...

I liked the part about the most fertile soil being in the valley. Being involved in farming for part of my life, that really made sense to me and was something I hadn't ever thought about. Thank you!

Keep Moving Forward !

We need to keep moving forward and never look back.
The past is the past and we can't change it.
We have to live in the Now and stay away from negativity everyday in everyway.
