Starting the day

 
I wanted to write a quick note on what may ask me about how to organize my day. Now I don't want to give you another colorful graph to prioritize your coffee break and go to the store time. 

 

I have found the key to all the planning and programs and to do lists come to how you start your day. It is very simple. Start your day with a simple ritual that gets your mind revved and juiced and the other tasks fall into place. Lets think about it, get up angry and depressed or not excited and how difficult is it to have a fulfilling and productive day? Pretty hard to have an day filled with positive results.
 
This is the reason to all exercise physiologist recommend working out in the morning. It gets your metabolism and your brain firing on all cylinders. Well, that is one part of the ritual now we have to get the vision going. This is where you can use "self talk, incantations, affirmations" or what ever you would like to call them. Since this is being written during the opening of the new Harry Potter movie I will use incantations. 
 
Before you begin your exercise routine I would start off with some deep breathing exercises to fill your body with power. This is the basis for all the Eastern philosophy. Now use use what ever you would like "I am filled with gratitude today." I have all I need for success today." Do this in your head and more importantly out loud! This will bring the subconscious into the mix. You don't need to exercise for two hours just get your ritual off in the morning and I garantee you will have a more productive day.
