Wasteful Spending
When working with startup companies and individuals I make sure they understand how to not only budget their money, but how to manage and plan their money. I always ask the following questions:
1. What do your financial statements look like? (Most common response- huh?)
2. Are your spending money and allocating resources in “wasteful” areas, or areas that do not support your vision?
A constant review of your financials will allow you to course correct and stay on target. Just as a pilot flying from California to Hawaii, they must continually make adjustments or they will never arrive at their destination.
I know it sounds simple and should be common sense, but more times than not I work with people who really don't know what they are spending on their own product and how that is affecting their bottom line. If you are in network marketing for a business, I would suggest you treat it like a business and know your numbers!
