When you hit rock bottom the only way out is to take responsibility
One better be committed to their goals by taking responsibility or else they will stay behind no matter what the case is. Especially if they are at the lowlight of their life. It does not matter how you feel at this point. You will be successful only because of yourself. Not your parents, sibilings, cousins or your friends. If they do not like for you who you are they are not your friends anyway. In the book the Slight Edge there is the curve where 5% of the people in the world take charge of their life and 95% ofv the people transfer their responsibility to someone or something else.
The ones who are in charge of their lives and they have no other choice but that have high standards know it is how they react to the negative things is what counts. If you think you are going to be sitting on the wall waiting for someone to sing you a song forget about it. You are a goner. That is what the people who are on the failure curve do. They blame the government, the weather and everyone else who has entered and exited their lives.
The people who are on the success curve are the ones who are the excellent students. They learn from the leaders before them this philosophy. That is practicing the Slight Edge. Sinple things on a daily basis will get to your goal much faster than the things that you choose to skip. It either will make you or break you.
An example of the Slight Edge that will break you is this. Lets say that today you go to McDonalds and you eat a big Mac./You repeat that process today and two days later. Will that kill you immediately no. However, if you decide to do that every single day for two years. Your health has then deteriorated big time and you will say to yourself in the hosipital this phrase. I wish I did.
An example of the Slight Edge that will make you is here. The one that will make you a big leader is spending time doing personal development each day like reading a good book and learning new skills every week so that they can advertise on the internet and off the internet.
That simple thing in the previous paragraph is going to draw other people to be like them and they are going in Zig Ziglars direction. People will ask you what have you done to get to where you are at? That way they will want your help and you will not chase them down.
Take Responsibility by Mastering The Slight Edge. It is by Jeff Olson. Read it today and do not delay!!!

I like it...
So true... so many people want to blame someone else, their circumstances, the economy, anything but themselves. Hannibal said it best... "We will find a way, or we will make one." Take responsibility, take ownership in your future... and remember, "If it's to be, it's up to me!"
