What Is The Network Marketing "Winning" Mindset?

The other day I was thinking to myself what exactly does it take to succeed in network marketing?

I thought about this until I got a head cramp, and so I turned on the good ol’ TV (I know it’s a curse). I saw that one of my favorite movies was on, and I decided to watch it.
 
The name of the movie was Pride.
 
Let me tell you it is a FANTASTIC movie. I love every minute of it. If you have not seen it, go to your local RedBox and check it out. You will not be disappointed.

Anyway, the movie is about a black swimmer that teaches a group of young black men how to be good high school swimmers. I know it might sound a little lame, but that is probably because I am awful at explaining plots of movies without giving everything away.
 
I don’t want to ruin the movie for you, but I just wanted to give you a jest of what it is about.
 
These swimmers go through trials that us network marketers could not even imagine going through, much less overcoming.
 
The movie takes place in the seventies and eighties when there is still a bunch of prejudice and racism flooding America, and what they go through is nearly heart breaking.
 
The name of the recreational center that they are a part of is PDR, which stands for Pride, Determination and Resilience.
 
I cannot come up with three words that describe the (Mike Dillards term) “alpha” network marketer.
Of course a successful person is going to need pride.
 
He needs to carry himself with class, dignity, and superiority. He cannot take anything from anyone. He does not care what you think because he believes so strongly in his own opinion.
 
This does not make him un-coach-able, but he is only willing to be coached by the right people.
 
Without determination a network marketer is now a cashier/fry cook at McDonalds. He knows that he is going to make mistakes. He knows he will fail at least once or twice. He knows he will have to put a lot on the line before he ever succeeds, but that is okay because the end result is worth every ounce of sacrifice.
 
Resilience is what makes the “alpha” network marketer able to stand his ground. Life is not about how hard you can hit, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward(Rocky Balboa). He knows that the only difference between the successful person and the failure is when the successful person fails he gets back up and tries again.
 
Just because he fails once does not make him a failure because he already knows will succeed. It is no longer a dream, it is now a reality before it ever even happens.
 
The person that thinks like this with PDR in the back of their mind is the ONLY person that will succeed in this industry.
