How to Begin Your On Line Marketing; Four Things You Need To Know

Your first assignment when looking at online marketing is to determine what your product will be.

For some this can be the second most challenging part of creating your business, and it will take some work on your part.

First: Think about what you love and or passionate about.

Look at your bookshelf. What have you been willing to spend money to learn about?

What courses have your taken, groups you belong to? What are your hobbies, how do you spend your spare time?

Second: Think about what you are good at.

Ask friends how they see you. What do they perceive you are good at? Don't leave the little things out either, like your love of growing flowers, or keeping a neat home, or riding bikes, or...gazing at the stars.

Third: Do the necessary research to discover if you have a product that will generate income. Ask yourself

"IS MY PRODUCT PROFITABLE?"

Better to discover in the beginning that your product will help you to make the money you want! Having a great product doesn't mean the public will want or understand it's benefits and get out their wallet.

This step is so important for financial success. Find out who is looking for what you have. Go ahead, and "Google" your product and see what is out there.

.Fourth: You may have heard doing a business plan is important in starting a Business. Working online is really no different.

You need to know all the logistics of how you will market your product, and deliver it to your customer. What startup capital is necessary, who is your competition, how and where to market to and who you should invite to be on your support team?

Don't skip this step; not only will you have a road map of what to do and when, it will be an important tool if you want the IRS to take you seriously. Know how many hours a week you can dedicate to your startup efforts. Put your activities into a time line and stick to the plan, especially when it comes to what you do on a daily basis.

If you are able and willing, take the time to write about yourself in the third person like you were some character in the book. Describe your personality, physical stature, what you are doing and thinking. Is your "character" out going and the life of the party, or the quiet one having a one on one conversation? Write it all down. This might get a little uncomfortable, I know it was that way for me, but keep on going, it's for your eyes alone.

This simple exercise helped me to see what was missing and what I needed to change if I had hopes of reaching thousands of people and making friends all over the world.
