In careers, business, relationships and whatever else you can think of, there is one fundamental factor that plays a role. A factor that comes in the form of a question. Or how long can you make your business last in an economy that is shrinking day by day? I was shifting through my email the other day just like any marketer who gets a whole load of emails on a daily basis, and I read something that really applies to not only life, but also online marketing. The basic idea was that everything works but nothing works forever. Read that again. Everything works but nothing works forever. The reason this relates to online marketing so well is because there are so many marketing methods you can use to get results with.
 
From blogging to SEO, to PPC to social media and everything else in between, many marketers have used different methods and seen great results with them. Mike Dillard mastered the skill of copywriting which helped him experience massive levels of success. Other top marketers like Daegan Smith, Ann Sieg, Brian Fanale, Ray Higdon, Mia Davies and Katie Frieling just to name a few also had their first break through when they started with just one marketing method.
 
So the question you need to ask yourself is once you experience those levels of success, how long can you make it last? Are you going to continue working and learning on how to further improve and get better results by investing your earnings? Or are you going to blow all the money on the latest cars or best designer clothes? Their is nothing wrong with spending some of the money you get, but always remember that your learning will never stop. It is an ongoing process just like your breathing.
 
Different things will work for different people. One person could get amazing results using SEO, but another could get absolutely nothing! It all comes down to the money and time you invest into your learning and how consistent you are in tweaking things when something stops working. By constantly learning, testing, tweaking and experimenting, your success can last for a lifetime and not just for one day for one month. Remember, nothing will work forever because if you attempt to stay in the past, technology will move in to the future and leave you as just a fraction of its past.
