How to “Accidentally Discover” Success

There’s often a misconception that a lot of people have about success, whether it be about success online or success in general business: success is often in the realm of “the lucky.” But when you look deeper, you find that hard work and a positive mental attitude had more to do with success than even “luck.”

When an exploding trend comes on the scene and entrepreneurs "accidentally discover" success - people are quick to chalk their success up to luck. But you have to look a little deeper if you want to see the truth.

Consider the case of Christopher Columbus. It’s easy to point out that he “accidentally” discovered America while on the search for a route to the West Indies.

But look at it on a deeper level. Columbus was actually quite a go-getter who made the excursion across the Atlantic Ocean purely on faith, and some handy convincing of the king and queen of Spain – not the easiest task in the world. The excursion wouldn’t have happened without Columbus taking the action and believing in his own abilities in the first place.

When it comes to success in the world as you know it, you sometimes have to be willing to take a risk or two. Sometimes, these risks are small, like checking out a new product or getting your feet wet through a free video series, but sometimes these risks require larger decisions, such as “I’m going to turn this into a business.”

Is success guaranteed? Of course not. But having faith means you can handle the ambiguity of life’s obstacles, and believe in yourself enough to trust that you can make it all right in the end.

Remember, Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Go explore. Stay up on the latest trends, and don't be afraid to sieze the opportunity when it presents itself...who knows, you may be the next to "accidentally discover" success!

I'm a so what who cares kind of guy myself and I always want to know how something I've read or heard applies to me, so lets start stimulating our minds, together as a collective group by answering and discussing these questions:

1) What exploding trends have you heard about, but haven't taken the time to explore?

2) What exploding trends have you heard about in the past, that you didn't explore, only to regret not taking advantage of today (hindsight is 20/20 right)

3) What exploding trends to you know about that you have explored, that you are taking advantage of, and you'd like to share?
