The law of giving....

There is a spiritual aphorism I love, and it goes something like this, "Those who give are given to..so they may give again." Look around you at those in your life you admire, cherish or love....are they takers by nature? Probably not, they add value to your life in what ever unique way they possess, through leadership, friendship or sharing of stimulating and creative ideas unique to you both, they give something to your existence.

This is the tenet we must avail ourselves to if we are to become successful in life, business or friendship..what can we add first and foremost to another's life before we can expect to receive from the universe what we desire. Mike Dillard and many of the people in Better Networker have gotten to where they are today due to the fact that what they add to the lives of others is greater than they request from others...the greater the difference between these two..depending on which is greater defines an unbelievable success contrasting a total failure in action and results.

Get yourself known

I agree with you Joe. People follow you or join you because they like what you are doing.

One thing most of us forget is that when we talk or write a topic we never try to imagine ourselves as a beginner.

It is easy for a person who has experience and success to demonstrate their capabilities. Let's say I am a beginner and I present myself to the world but cannot prove anything. I talk like the great guru's. Do you think that they will believe me or follow me. Don't thinks so.

I was myself in this situation when I started and felt very frustrated because I could not show anything that proves to any kind of success. I tried to act like great leaders and it just did not work.

Today, although it is different.

Yes, I will still give you 10 out of 10. What you wrote is absolutely true, everybody wants to earn money but they do want to follow someone who can lead them to their success.

Mentoring with Magnetitude

Good article Joel, What am I doing? I teach people how to "positively" activate The Law Of Attraction. So many people have read The Secret and The Power of This and The Power of That and studied everything they can get their hands on to learn How to Attract What they Want in Life, and yet they still struggle to master The Law of Attraction.

I've identified the differences that make ALL the difference, and put all eight essential pieces of the Law Of Attraction Puzzle together. In my web seminar Magnetitude® I fulfill my desire to help others who have fallen victim to the problem in the Law of Attraction. I offer the webcast FREE to all who need help.

To get the Magnetitude® Webcast link you can go to http://www.Magnetitude.com

Thanks for the reminder

I need to be reminded constantly that I need to have people follow me not because of my natural take charge get the task completed leadership (which works fine when I am the boss)but because I meet their needs first and they want to follow, join, etc.

I agree

Joel, It is so true. I think people these days become more intrigued with what we do as they see who we are. These days, commercials and all the intrusive marketing schemes people are faced with daily really turn people off. People want sincerity, character, charisma and a sense that they are going to have genuine individual who cares to listen to them. As a pharmacist, my job has always been to listen to the needs of my patients. It should be NO different for marketers out there. For those that have not experienced this I will say this...when someone comes to you for advice, encouragement etc, its never because of your location or what badge or card you have...its because of the value you have provided to them.

Well said Joel

I think that most people are afraid to sell themselves. Therefore, they do it timidly thinking they can get the results over time. Fear is a dream killer and it will keep you from really putting yourself out there. People should take risks, you can't be in business for yourself and not take risks.

The great thing about it though is that you have so many examples of people that have taken the risks, conquered their fear and succeeded.

Good brain food man. Keep it up!
