Well, what would happen is that all the work I have done to promote my company and my products goes down the drain and I have to start all over again from nothing! That does not sound good to me.

Now what would happen if I decided to brand myself instead of branding my company?

Nothing! Nothing special would happen because all the work I have done to brand myself would still be there. I would just have to switch my MLM business in the back-end of my marketing campaigns. I would be able to continue like nothing happened. The leads that I generate will not see any difference. My personal blog will not need any changes because I will have created generic articles to promote me and how I can help others succeed.

Now, that looks like a much better alternative! Why would I work so hard for a company that can terminate me at any time when I can work for myself and have the company in the back end that I can switch whenever I want to? Which choice makes sense to you?

So to answer the question "do I need to brand myself?" my research shows clearly that YES, it is a much better approach than branding a specific company and products. I will still promote it of course but only in the back end. Think of it this way, does providing the advertising and promotion for a company who really has no loyalty to you make more sense than creating an advertising and promotion campaign that markets you?
