What is The True Purpose of Our Online Business!
In todays Super Competitive online environment, you must separate yourself from the masses. To do this you must inspire the kind of Customer Experience that creates sustained loyalty.
Lets pause for a moment to ask the question. What is The True Purpose of Our Online Business? Most would say well of course it's to make money, or to sustain a profit, or to build a massive mailing list! No, No and again No-These are goals which are secondary to our main purpose. What is our main purpose? The True Purpose of Our Online Business should be to aquire and keep customers!!!
How do we accomplish this most important task you ask!
First we must uncover the true wants and needs of our customers. In other words we must understand our customers and appreciate what they want. Once we discover what they want we must position ourselves to deliver what they need. In other words we must become value experts in their eyes, prodigys at providing what they need. Providing service that is over and above what is expected!
How do we become focused at delivering value. We OVERDELIVER, we display Excetional Value, we become LEGENDARY at providing the kind of Service that perpetually keeps the customer in a state of Wow!!! If we can consistentally create wow experiences, we will create a army of Loyal patrons that goes way beyond trying to Optimize our Web pages.
What are Wow experiences? Well in the online world providing GREAT CONTENT is a good start. For example if you have an account on Twitter, don't just lead out with your opportunity and a link-EVERYONE does that. Its like the house that SPAM built. Write what I call a Content Glorious Piece!
Maybe provide a couple of free websites that would help your target customer with their problem. Provide answers to their questions, So what if you are promoting another blog with great content. Guess what you might provide your website-A BOOKMARK. How you say does that help you, because potential customers want to return to sites that offer them VALUE!
But remember this point! You must be consistent with providing your customers with Wow experiences ie free tips, valuable information, free Ebooks, ways to solve their problems. They have been beaten up, abandoned and left for dead so many times that your like the guy holding a door open for his date, not once but everytime. But you must think of ways to still overdeliver, it must become the norm, a way of life.
Then guess what-Confidence will start to build and your customers will become Loyal followers! Oh and one other thing, we should keep in mind is as we provide legendary service to our customers on a minute to minute, hour to hour, day to day, week to week basis, we should be providing substantially more service to them than they provide payment.
Ill never forget a quote from Joe Paterno a Hall of Fame Football Coach who once said "You have to perform at a consistently higher level than others. That's the mark of a true professional. Professionalism has nothing to do with getting paid for your services".
And to finish this Post-What Is The True Purpose Of Your Online Business?-To Prove to the Customer that you are more interested in them than you are in the sale. If they can feel that from the service you provide and the value you have provided them your Success will be Limitless!!!!
