STAND UP! : Be the President of your business…of your life
 

Throughout the centuries, business owners have created the jobs, taken the risks,
invented the technology, and helped move our nation forward.
The business owners are the people who dare to step into the role of company
"President” and they are the heroes that we should celebrate today.  Our founding fathers
were businessmen who also made the time to build a nation. The greatest discoveries by
the greatest scientists will sit in a research institution's filing cabinet until a business person
applies the breakthrough to the real world.
 
I have spent many years of my life encouraging people to step up and become the President
of their business/team.  Because you and I are President of our own Life we can each
"Make A Difference"   in our world and in the world.  In your life – you are the person who decides
what's important, what's right, and where you want to go.  You and I set the course, make the rules,
and we have to live with the results - good or bad.  This takes guts and a lot of heart!  It's simple
and rarely "easy".  And the great news is that we all have a level of personal "Response-Ability"  
that we can increase through learning from our coaches, mentors, and heroes. So celebrate being
the President of everything in your life. OWN YOUR LIFE. Stop giving away your power to the
"they say" or the “coulda, shoulda, woulda's" in your life. 
 
Stand up! Take Charge!

You are the President of your Life.  BE IT.  DO IT.  Have IT.

Right On Vikki!

So well put, and I loved the "Response-Ability"- never thought about it that way! We have to be flexible enough to adjust our plan as we see things not going as well as we like, pushing forward until the results are what we envisioned. It's up to no one but us!
