Be a leader but only for a minute
It’s not easy becoming successful. In fact , it is very hard work. You must listen and learn, but you must also be committed to following your own hopes and desires and dreams wherever they may take you. You must be willing to awaken the champion that lives within you and follow that champion through thick and thin, highs and lows, triumph and tragedy all the way to victory.
Human nature dictates that we are all looking for strong leaders….We have a President to run Our Country …Right? And to get to the top you must first become that strong , committed leader TO YOURSELF. Through self discipline, you must take control of your self-image, your time, your weakness’ and your life.
From time to time you might ask yourself “ Am I strong enough?”, “ Do I have what it takes?”, “ Can I do it?”. And the answer will always be Yes You Can. YES YOU CAN!!! Thing is we all have mishaps in our lives and there is nothing we can do to prevent them. There are heartaches, disappointments, failure and pain. No one has ever achieved Greatness without first experiencing some self-doubt. But you CAN get past it.
Leaders aren’t strong all the time. In the beginning they are only strong for minutes at a time and that’s ok.
Then hours and days at a time. Eventually they work up to weeks at a time, but sometimes then begin to question what they are doing.
Now the difference between a leader and a regular person is, the leader, when they are down and hurting, will pull themselves up by their bootstraps, find the positive, vital, strong crusader within them and , even though they are hurting, go out and do it again……YEE HAAA!!!!!!!
You deserve to be successful, you always have. You deserve the best that life has to offer and you deserve to win. Now it’s time to be that leader for just minutes at a time, then hours at a time, then days at a time, and when your stronger, weeks at a time. You will become stronger and better each and every minute . You will acquire skills and the drive to be great , and at the same time , the self-confidence to be humble, Then you will be ready to become a Great leader.
The world desperately needs good leaders. Leaders who are not afraid to dream the big dream and do the big deed; Leaders who are willing to follow their hearts and fight for the cause. Leaders willing to blaze new trails and climb tall mountains; leaders who care and are committed . Leaders who share the dream while sharing the responsibility.
The world has a need for Your Leadership, and so do You.!!!
The most important contribution you can make is finding your own personal leadership and following it to the top. You must be willing to take personal inventory of your strengths and weakness’ so you will know what tools you have and which ones you need to get the job done. You must take one step at a time, slowly but surely, outside of your comfort zone. Conquer your ego and self-doubts, keep your eyes on the big goal and you must work through the disappointment and pain until you reach it.
First I would like to express my appreciation to Greg Arnold in his assistance in helping me write this article.
Next , your goals must be for the benefit of others as well as yourself and you must be willing to give everything ya got to help others enjoy those benefits.
Now ,I possess information that even seasoned veterans have stopped and taken notice of , and in-use of their selves as well as giving this information to their organization for leadership building. Now you can have it also.

"You must be willing to take
"You must be willing to take personal inventory of your strengths and weakness..."
I just learned recently that often times our strengths ARE our weaknesses. Interesting point and when I really stopped to look at myself and apply that to my own leadership, it really helped me to reveal those areas that needed a bit of an adjustment and fine tuning. Great read, Zelphina! Keep up the good work! :)

Listen and Learn!
Those are two things people have a hard time remembering to do.
And often once they become leaders, they forget to do both!
Great article Zelphina!
Leaders are Responsible
Its all about Accountability and Responsibility!
Teach others that are weak where you are Strong and Learn from those who are Strong Where you are weak and you will make it to the top!
It Is Not Always The Easiest Thing To Do
When you have to take personal inventory of yourself it is not always the easiest thing to do, but in order to be successful,
IT IS A MUST !
Rise to the leader you are meant to be.
You are so right on. It is not always easy growing into leadership, but it is important finding that niche that you fit in and rising to the top. Great value here Zelphina!
If you want to reach the summit nothing or nobody will stop you
You have such a talent for word pictures -

I find the hard part is finding those who have the same drive, the same commitment to scaling that mountain, reaching for "their" dream. The ones you can work shoulder to shoulder with on a common goal. Most find the foothills taxing, the suspension about the deep divide too frightening, the bruises and cuts of rejection require coddling and hand holding.
Every leader has to learn when to stop and reach back down to offer a hand up and when to leave the stragglers behind. Tough love in action and as every leader discovers it's tough on the leader as well but has to be done if they want to reach the summit themselves.
Beautifully written.

Becoming a true leader
It is a journey to become a true leader.
Leaders don't give up without a fight.
Success does not come easily, but leaders
will keep trying until they succeed.
Leaders think,feel,and know they have
