Desire , True Warriors burn there bridges....

There was once a great warrior who was set up to go against an army that outnumbered his army by the thousands. He sailed his men over to the place of battle, then ordered all the ships burned to the ground. He exclaimed to his men. “The only way we can leave now is if we win” . They won.

This story illustrates what I want to talk to you about today. Desire, if you truly desire something, you have to burn your ships. There should be no backdoor, no way out. You must tell yourself that I will seek no other option, is stake my future, my life on the object of my desire. Nobody will tell me otherwise, I am on a path to success. I will not be limited.

The power of desire is usually downplayed by the masses and coveted by the successful. Most of your peers will pull you down like a crab in a bucket, every time a crab tries to get out the other crabs pull him down, so no crab can get out the bucket. The same applies, every time you discover an unfamiliar reality , your friends who have yet to discover it pull you to the reality you both mutually understand. But you have to realize its not working, and there is something that sets you apart from the successful. Especially the ones who started at or below the level of life you are accustomed .

They have figured out things you didn’t. They figured out a burning desire is the first step to success. You have to know what you want. You have to believe you can have it and deserve it, and you have to see yourself in possession of it. I am going to leave you with a famous action plan of Napoleon Hill Himself.

The Steps to Success and creating perfect desire

First. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say ‘I want plenty of money.’ Be definite as to the amount. (There is a psychological reason for definiteness which will be described in a subsequent blog post).

Second. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. (There is no such reality as ‘something for nothing.).

Third. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.

Fourth. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.

Fifth. Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.

Sixth. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. AS YOU READ— SEE ANFEEL AND BELIEVE YOURSELF ALREADY IN POSSESSION OFTHE MONEY.

Be Blessed and have success.
