Do You Want a College Degree or Specialized Knowledge?
Society places a high priority on education. Education is definitely important, but what kind? It seems like if you have been to college and have a few initials behind your name then you are an important person, you are better off than those who don’t have college in their background. Now, maybe everyone doesn’t have this opinion, but it sure seems like more often than not that attitude is detected. People sometimes go through life suffering from inferiority complexes, because they are not people of “education.” Remember that Thomas A. Edison had only three months of schooling during his entire life. And Henry Ford had less than a sixth grade education and both men managed to do very well in life, wouldn’t you say?
Who set this standard? Is it right? Does it matter how or where you get knowledge?
We learn in Chapter 5 of Think and Grow Rich that there are two kinds of knowledge. General and the other, is specialized. Just because a person has gained knowledge through an educational facility, that does not necessarily make them a success in life. It solely depends on what you do with that knowledge after you have acquired it.
Any man is educated who knows where to get knowledge when he needs it and how to organize that knowledge into definite plans of action. Henry Ford was such a man. He had at his command all the specialized knowledge he needed to enable him to become one of the wealthiest men in America, through the assistance of his “Master Mind” group.
It’s a liberating feeling to know we don’t have to know it all. Our major purpose in life, the goal toward which we are working, will help determine what knowledge we need and should go after. As we acquire this knowledge, we must organize it and put it into use, for a definite purpose, through practical planning to bring us closer to our ultimate goal.
Hence, the importance of a “Master Mind” group in our profession is vitally important.
Besides offering the specialized knowledge spoken about above, a “Master Mind” group offers security, especially if you can trust them to keep you on track.
I hope you have found that strength of specialized knowledge and security for you in your business.
To your success,
Lynn Jones

Education is power
Getting the right kind of education in network marketing is critical. Lynn, you are so right, knowing all the answers yourself is not the key to education. Knowing where to find the answer is.
You are toast without a Mastermind Group
I have people on my Team smarter then me way smarter. It is a good thing I have all of the Brains behind Mentoring for Free other wise they would be lost. When you have a Mastermind you can sponser above yourself. I do it all the time. Thanks Lynn for helping us understand it takes more then one person to have success.

But do I care ..? Heck no!
Keep it up Lynn.

Perfect timing for today...
...without a doubt! I have heard the life stories of Ford and Edison and many others who made such amazing contributions to mankind's storehouse of knowledge with little 'formal' education. Great, great inspiration for me today. Thank you, Lynn. :-)
"We don't Need to know All"
Lynn, great article, I remember when I started marketing, I thought I had to know everything. But through time, it was explained to me that you don't need to know everything, infact, you should acquire knowledge. In this business, you need to start off with one skill at a time, in my opinion, get great at one and then learn another. Also, having a mastermind group also matters a great deal, because you can outsource with them, when you don't have an answer. A true leader knows the keys to success. Mindset + Skillset+ Action + Mastermind Group = Success. Great post Lynn.
Great as always
The way I like to think of it is, I don't have to be the Dictionary, with Mentoring For Free and my Master Mind Groups I have an entire Library...lol
