How Much You Make Is Directly Tied To This...
Did you know that the extent of VALUE you offer in your communication to prospects and clients is proportionate to how much you make in your business?
Same is true in your JOB... better communication = better pay.
However you make your money, your communication skills SIGNIFICANTLY impact what you earn.
Uh Oh... Probably not what you wanted to hear.
I AM sorry if this bursts your bubble...
You might be looking for answers about how to make more moolah' (or obtain more success in your business) in all the wrong places.
And perhaps you're thinking that a system or opportunity is the solution when what you're actually lacking is good communication.
This isn't a problem that's going to go away until you step up and meet the challenge head on.
------------------------------------------
Who Is Teaching These Skills?
------------------------------------------
Regardless of how you generate leads...
Whether you build a marketing funnel to generate your own leads, work a referrals list, use Google Adwords (PPC), a blog, a website, SEO, social media or you cold call leads (hope not)--there comes a point where you must know how to effectively communicate or you limit yourself and depending on how little you know about effective communication, it could stop any level of real success from happening at all.
If you're good at marketing but bad at communicating, you likely make 10% of what you could with the same number of leads.
Ouch.
Coaching skills are effective communication--they give you the ability to lead and influence people.
Confidently.
Competently.
Learning coaching skills doesn't have to be difficult... it just has to be one of your main focuses.
Doing so is one of the few shortcuts available to success.
We'll soon be allowing students to learn these skills with Barbara Silva's Coaching Cognition.
I encourage you to take this opportunity to learn in months what took me years because I was on my own alone. With Barbara and Coaching Cognition you'll be in a safe place to accelerate your learning.
There's another aspect to this that can really make a difference for you...
Students of Coaching Cognition will have an opportunity to be featured ongoing at our Coaching platform--where we direct PAYING clients to you and manage all the details (we have a lot of people in need of qualified coaches and regardless of what you think now, YOU likely have the ability to be one).
For many this will be a full-time income as a coach.
Others will do it here and there to make ends meet, build confidence, while enjoying assisting others, and building their dream in their current business.
An entirely new world opens up to you when you become a coach with Coaching Cognition.
In case you missed it, hear from Curt Johnson about Coaching Cognition. He's Ann Sieg's upline and was her coach at one time.
Curt's been a coach for years so his recommendation and participation in Coaching Cognition speaks volumes to what it can mean for you.
Here are two others I'd like you to hear from in case you missed them.
Eric Walker on Coaching Cognition
Claire Covington on Coaching Cognition
Here are more people you can hear from about their 'take' on Coaching Cognition... notice how authentic they are.
Notice how 'salesy' they are NOT.
Click and scroll down the page to watch and listen.
Really watch them.
Read between the lines--these are real people who have quickly gone from where most people start... where you likely are now... to owning VALUABLE coaching skills.
You CAN do this.
We'll have more details for you about how to join this exclusive 6 month class program. Watch closely. We'll be open for only a short time in early October. The date isn't set. I'll share what I know as I know it!
If you missed my article on The Only Shortcut That Exists I highly recommend it. It talks about developing your essential list of skills to avoid the mistake I made in my first 14 years in business.

Article on Communication Skills
Interesting article on communication. Even though we all should know that communications skills are critical for any relationship, it's a good reminder. Thanks, Linda Mitchell
Better Communication = Better Pay
Mike,
I have to be reminded sometimes to get my head off marketing and back on communicating. But,I know how to do it well. After all, I'm with Coaching Cognition!
Watching Curt, Eric and Claire remind us of our ability to impact and influence others in a positive way with coaching and communication skills.
And what a pleasure it is to learn how to effectively communicate and influence others. I'm staying focused....thanks for the opportunity!
Mike Klingler thanks.
Mike Klingler once again I have gain new knowledge.
How Much You Make is Also Tied to This... (Relaxed Intensity)
It's not necessarily about how hard you work, you have to work hard tho.
But I realized early early on that when I was working so hard and thinking I SHOULD be making money just because of hard work alone - I was actually hindering my progress.
Here's why.
I wasn't focused on offering value and communicating that value to a targeted group of prospects and market segments.
I had to learn how to communicate that value better - rather than write tired articles or awkward videos that looked like every other person.
Yet, for the majority, there really is no other way to learn how to create value other than continuous attempts at creating content that is valuable.
But beware, that doesn't create influence, yet Be Aware! that leads to something BIG - a "grand opus" if you will where everything you do and everything you offer leads to that grand opus. It's like climbing the mountain and reaching the top.
That's how influence can be attained.
Just to repeat, I HAD (and so do you) to write those articles and make those videos to get to a place where I felt comfortable with understanding the process of creating value and wielding influence.
**I also had to find coaching ... Most do, and if you don't the odds of success are greatly diminished.
**And I had to talk to my fiance on the pillow night after night ... that is both coaching and communication.
**I had to take thorough advantage of my interactions with Mike back when they were few and far between. I knew that whenever we got on the phone I had to both listen and communicate my needs in such a way and in a short amount of time. I had to be ready to do that and the only way to be ready to do that is to always be taking the pulse of your growth and communication skills.
And then I had to continue writing those tired articles and make more awkward videos.
And all the while, I had to continue to be absolutely vigilant about following through and finishing strong.
Sound intense? It is ... BUT it's also relaxed, Jeffrey Combs "Relaxed Intensity."
Doing all of these things will put you in a developmental process continuum and you'll have to stop every so often and reflect...what's next?
During these mini-periods of reflection between bursts of productivity
and focus on training, I ALWAYS sought after a coach, and I was always seeking to communicate.
I think you have to.
I ALWAYS sought to bring my fiance on board with what I was doing.
One of the worst things you can do is to live in a vaccum. Doing so
stunts your ability to communicate.
If you aren't talking to people, you aren't doing one of the most important things that creates success - that's communicating.
"Producing results comes from being focused with a relaxed intensity, developing skills & habits that reward you." -Jeffery Combs
Lean on Me!
You may be one of those people that everyone else comes to for advice. That's been my story for as long as I can remember. I even taught high school classes when I was still in high school!
My dad and I had a joke between us:
When you are the "leaning post" for everyone else -- who do YOU lean on?
The answer is -- you don't. Having people lean on you keeps you from falling over.
www.films42.com/tribute/paul_newman.asp This is one of my favorite images of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward - it captures what I mean!
Being a coach means developing the same skills you are bringing out in your clients.
Learning to become a coach is easy - when there are lots of good people to lean on!
Coaching, Amazing Value
I am not a coach...yet. But, I have been coached and all I can say is, WOW, what an amazing benefit it has been for my overall focus on where I want to go in my business life. To gain better focus has put an end to my overwhelm feeling of trying to be everywhere, all the time. I haven't explored it for my personal life, but, hear it can also be helpful in that area as well.
I just want to send out a huge "thank you" to my coach and to Barbara Silva for putting together this amazing program. This will be so helpful to so many people. I know it first hand.
Michelle
Taking off all the Limits
"there comes a point where you must know how to effectively communicate or you limit yourself"
This is true not only in marketing, but in life relationships.
I love my girlfriends who speak piles of good and sometimes hard things into my life to make me a better person.
I know that participating in Coaching Cognition and being another person "leaning" on Barbara's "post" is going to be a journey, sometimes hard work, but worth it all.
Better Skills = Bigger Earnings
"However you make your money, your communication skills SIGNIFICANTLY impact what you earn."
You're so right, Mike. If a person can't get what they have to say understood by others, then that person is left flat on their face. No attraction there!
That's why Coaching Cognition is so important to me as it will fine tune my communication skills. And in the process, as I get better at communicating value to others, I know that the monetary reward will be the bonus thank you that will show me that what I do is really helping others to find what they want and need.
Bringing Out The Best...
Mike,
There's a Zig Ziglar quote I've always loved and it's "you'll have everything you want if you'll help enough other people get what they want". That's what comes to mind when I think of Coaching Cognition.
Bringing out the best in other people can't help but bring out the best in us. A coach is especially fortunate because they get to help people enhance their lives and get rewarded financially in the process. I'm really looking forward to the program opening.
