“When the timing is right, NON-network marketers will take your product to the marketplace. The timing means NOW. Not 5 years earlier. Not 5 years later. I’ll take timing over hard work every time.
Millionaires have been made in this industry JUST because of timing alone. Nothing else.
So how can you gauge the timing?
It’s not easy, but here are some tips:
- You’ll waste a lot of time, money & energy getting in too early, because a large percentage of these companies fail in the first year or two.
- You’ll waste a lot of time, money & energy getting in too late. If the company is a household name (imagine the MLM companies you think of as dinosaurs), its momentum growth period occurred years ago. You’re fighting a real uphill financial battle to start new in companies like this.
- You want to get in AFTER a company has proven it has staying power (maybe 3-5 years), but BEFORE its momentum growth period (in general, the time it takes a company to go from $100,000,000 to $500,000,000 a year). If you can find a company like this, and which also has the other parts of the formula in place, some fun work will give you the chance to ride a momentum wave to wealth.”
MY STORY—If you've read my Profile, you’ll see that I am an experienced Ground Floor network marketer. Each time I joined a Ground Floor opportunity, I had the same results.
One new company I joined sold packets of diet shakes that were supposed to make you able to leap over tall buildings in a single bound. The company vanished about the same time I grew bored with the shakes day after day after day.
I joined another ground floor opportunity that cost $2000 for business centers. I was confident that I'd be knee deep in diamond jewelry in no time flat. Lots of money lost there and no diamonds to show for it.
Because I’m a slow learner, I was in yet another ground floor opportunity started by a retail giant. Everyone on the planet was going to buy this jewelry because of their well-known brand. At the first convention there were 30 people in the room. Are you kidding me! No wonder that this new direct sales division got the ax nine months after it launched.
Once I connected with the Mentoring For Free system, I began to understand what you should look for in a company. Through the mentorship of Michael Dlouhy and a team of successful individuals, I learned that my lack of success was not my fault.
