Lead Yourself To Greatness

Are you looking for someone to believe in you and help you reach the top? Many people (including me) experience times in their lives when they have no support in what they are trying to accomplish. It's like we need someone to give us the OK that what we are doing is worthwhile. When we don't get the support we need or we get negative reactions from friends and family, it can suck the excitement right out of whatever you are doing. This is especially prominent in network marketing since you will most likely be contacting your friends, family and other people you respect about your opportunity. When you get a response that you didn't expect from someone you thought cared it can stop you dead in your tracks.

The lack of support causes many people to give up

This is definitely understandable but it doesn't need to happen. First of all, you have to realize that you do not need any support from your friends and family in order to achieve your dreams. Think about it, most likely your family and friends are not living their dreams and they are simply scared that you will move on and become more than they have ever become. They will try to keep you grounded with the Buzzards and not allow you to soar with the Eagles.

I have been there before and I have experienced a tremendous lack of support

So what do you do? Well, here are a few ideas to help you push forward...

1. Read, Read, Read!

You'll find that most anyone who has been successful in any endeavor has experienced lots of criticism along their journey. Trust me, you are not the only one that is experiencing this. There are tons of self-help books that will help you overcome anything you are going through and will help to keep you thinking positive in order to crush any negativity that comes your way.

2. Realize that you have everything you need within you!

You don't need anyone else to achieve greatness! You were born with talents and passions that will take you to the top if you will only put in the work required. Nobody gets to the top without hard work so just know that all you need to do is get busy taking the necessary steps to achieve whatever it is you are trying to achieve. You have all that you need or the capacity to acquire any skills or knowledge you are lacking.

3. Find new friends

You can't expect to get to the top and achieve your dreams if you continue hanging out with the same losers you have always hung out with. We all have friends that drag us down and the best thing you can do is either have a candid talk with them about it or disassociate with them all together. Life is too short to be held back by negative thinkers who only want to keep you on the same level as them. If you want to go places in life, hang out with people who are going places. Your weekly opportunity is a great place to start because it will get you around local leaders who have the right mindset.

4. Be the example

Even though people will put you down, laugh at you, gossip about you and bring negativity in your life, they will eventually admire you if you stay the course and not allow it to affect you. Set an example for others to follow. After all, you are a leader and are going to do great things, now is the time to start acting as a leader. Leaders don't wait for the right time, they live passionately and put off a vibe that tells people they are going to the top whether you like it or not!

My friends and family never believed that I could accomplish anything worthwhile but I proved them wrong. Well, actually I haven't proved anything to them because they still have no clue of all the success I have been fortunate to experience. I believed in myself and that's all I needed. When you have such a strong belief in yourself and your abilities, you can easily tune out what everyone else says. I couldn't care less about anyone supporting me any longer. I know where I am going and I will get there with or without the support of others...makes no difference to me.

Free you mind from what other people think about you and what you stand for. If you believe in something, go all out and show the world. If you do it long enough, people will respect you and follow you. Don't allow others to control your destiny, take charge of your life and
