Take a good look at who is successful in network marketing and you will see they are all leaders. You will know you are leader if someone will follow your lead. The only way that can happen is if people believe you have the leadership skills to show them the secret strategy to success and will reveal it to them. Everybody wants a leader who truly believes. When you can tap into your own thoughts of inner belief, you will be astonished at how many people YOU can motivate and inspire. If everyone has the potential to be a leader then there would be far more people making a Million plus $ a year.
It doesn't matter what company, how good it is, how long it's been around, what the training/coaching offers there will always be 95 to 97% of the people who are not going to be successful. Mainly because they are not leaders and never will be no matter how much you try to motivate them.
The larger a team grows the more obvious that is and it is just a fact that industry leaders acknowledge and accept as a part of the industry.

Leadership is a skill...
Modeled and crafted, its a skill. Not forced but fostered. Those who are ready will step up and lead.
In my opinion, many are leaders...
...who don't actually think they are. According to Merriam Webster Online a leader is a guide: (a) one that leads or directs another's way (b) a person who exhibits and explains points of interest (c) something or someone that provides a person with guiding information. Don't we all do these things for someone in our lives? We don't have to be 10-feet tall, carrying a huge banner, and followed by a throng to be a leader.
So... my point is that we are all leaders in our own way which means that our leadership abilities and skills change over time; if our abilities and skills can change, as we gain experience we can improve our leadership abilities too. :-D
Leadership Comes from Personal Development
Some leaders have a knack for leading right out of the gate, and find success seemingly easily, while others aren't aware that they are potential leaders until they spend some time developing themselves. It might be inch by inch or yard by yard but leaders are born every day, one way or another. They just have to decide they are willing to do what it takes.
